I've got a feeling that we will be seeing more of that as brick and mortar shops attempt to compete with online ones.

Coal Creek has its shortfalls but they have been consistently $25 for transfers for a while. Plus a lot of online retails i use keep their info on file which simplifies my end. Plus they are just plain convenient in location for me.

Coal Creek has new owners now, and while still not being the best - they have come a long way from what they were. Previous owner used to do I believe it was a $30 check + background, unless it was a gun they normally stocked/could order for you - then they charged you $50 + background.

Jeff, please let me know who you find to be the cheapest in this area. Sarge's Corner in Morristown used to do transfers for $15.....but now they're $30.

I visited Buckshot in Jacksboro. Guy said he only charged $10 for transfers. Plus the $10 TBI TICS tax. Not bad really everywhere else I checked was $25 or higher.
