Tuckable IWB for M&P Shield

Recommended Posts

What IWB tuckable holsters are you all using for the M&P Shield?  I have a .40 on order, and I have an Old Faithful hybrid for my SW990Lc (almost identical in size to a G27), but I've never really warmed up to it, especially when sitting down or driving a car.  I don't know if I'll like it better with the slimmer Shield in it or not.  I'll see how the Shield fits in it before ordering a Kydex piece molded specifically for the Shield.  Depending on suggestions, I may just go with something entirely new.

So far, the DeSantis Tuck-This II Pocket-Tuk models jump out at me the most.  I've read about the Remora line, too, but there is some disagreement over with size is ideal for a Shield, 4A vs 6A.

Any input is appreciated it!

My personal favorite on anything IWB is a hybrid holster (crossbreed, kholster, etc.) I had a "tuk this" holster and didn't really like anything about it. The j clip type deal was hard to get on my belt vs a regular over the top clip. The soft leather didn't distribute the "feel" of the gun on my side like the big piece of leather on a hybrid will do either. There are plenty of good options but I just think the hybrid types are the most comfortable. Once it conforms to your body you won't even know its there with a shield in it.

Thanks for the replies.  I'll give my hybrid another shot before buying anything else, though that MIC looks nice.  If anything, it's a trigger guard during storage if I ignore the Shield's safety.  I have used the Uncle Mike neoprene with my 990L, and for cases where I didn't need to tuck a shirt, it was quite comfy.
