I like it.  Thanks for posting it.  I'm kinda like the great Jeff Cooper: .... Im rather dismissive of those who aint used guns in a gunfight tryin to telling me what i need to do in the gunfight they aint had.   I believe ill take my advice from those who have actually had to use guns for their awful intended purpose and have lived to tell the tale.

Keep up the good work.

Some good points. The rare problem is that sometimes the experts can be wrong as well. Kyle Lamb is an ex special forces vet with combat time, and as far as I know, he states that point shooting doesn't work, and is an invalid technique. The issue I have with it is it is probably the best technique for close range gunfighting, the fastest, and the most natural. I used it in Iraq inside buildings, and it worked well.

Basically, take everything you hear with a grain of salt, and research it yourself.

Not every gunfighter is a teacher, and vice versa.  There are many students, some which study briefly, others which 'major' in the subject, studying many events, interviewing victims and survivors.  My point is that one does not necessarily have to be involved in an incident of gunfighting to be knowledgeable and thus an 'excellent' teacher.  I would say there a very few who have been in multiple gunfights with the exception of the battlefield.  Many coaches can coach those much more talented than they themselves are.  And not all survivors of a firefight are experts or teachers.  Some may be purely lucky.  Tactics and self defense are not an exact science; experience combined with education make it more of an art and an ongoing educational process.....and I'm sure we all would welcome a little luck if and when the time comes.  With that said, I appreciate the article and sounds like good advice.
