Question for you Glock 33 guys

Okay...I got rid of my 32 about 2 years ago and now I'm itching for a Glock again but would like a subcompact this time.  I am debating on a either 33 or 26 and just want to know how you guys like shooting a 33 WITHOUT a pinky finger extension. I don't want an extension because it would be a carry gun.

I carry a 33 99% of the time , BUT I use my magazine from my 32 with a grip extension. I personally don't like it without the extra grip. If it were me I would buy the 33 over a 26 anyday. I  have both but  with a 33 you can simply buy a 40 barrel ( uses same magazine ) or a 9mm conversion barrel and 9 mm magazine and go to other calibers .

From what I have read the 9mm can even use the same spring assembly on most ammo the only problem being some of the cheaper low power stuff. If you buy it in 9mm the hole in the slide is too small to go up in caliber. The conversion barrel has the chamber positioned so that it does not need a different ejector and has the outside diameter that matches the larger hole in the slide. I am planning on getting a conversion barrel for my 24 .

I carry a 33 daily, I think extension is a must. I even pocket carry it a lot. I had to do some trimming on the extension a little, but I can shoot it well. I have a .40 barrel in mine. 357 sig is a good round but expensive. Just make sure you buy quality holsters.

I carry a 29 daily and I also think the pinky extension makes a huge difference for the positive. It adds a level of control and sure grip when speed draw especially under concealment. I really don't link shooting it with the factory mag only. Maybe just a preference though. Hell obviously Glock thinks it perfectly reasonable or they wouldn't sell them without the extensions.
