Tell ya what though, if it ever comes to Red States vs Blue States, we're with you guys and I'm speaking for every "Yankee" from a Blue state on here reading this.

Of course we don't want to go to war with ourselves again, and Putin and that ** damn Ahmadinejad would love to see that go down.

No offense but the Civil War is over. And since then the American people have fought many other war's as one Nation. WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam...the list goes on.

The pity is that so many American's had to die for their political beliefs at home way back then. However, we are united as a Nation and will continue to do so to

protect our shores.

Our biggest challenge is not the Russians but the modern American politician who is representing themselves and not the people of the USA.

Hey,  I agree with you completely.  I'm just a fireman, but I'm from a military family with service in every war since the 1800s- Yanks and Rebs side by side.  I never served, but I'm sure you actives and vets all know all that old hype is out the window.   Heck, whoever here's a vet or active duty, please give a shout out with your branch so we can all recognize your service...

And no joke Rebs, my family all served for the South.   Tennessee and Virginia.  I'm a second generation Yankee.
Being a bunch of folks that play with guns, with lots of Feinstein's favorites mixed in, some folks may play a little rough. If it's too much to handle, there's always ARFCOM... the kinder, gentler gun forum :)
I left ARFCOM about 14 years ago. I assume it hasn't improved. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I go there when I'm looking for something specific, but don't hang out there.

My first AR15 was one of them neutered, Brady Bill rifles, since I wasn't willing to pay the extra few hundred bucks for a pre-ban rifle with a bayonet lug.  I posted a pic of my new joy and was lambasted by people for not having an adequate rifle capable of mounting a blade to.  I disagreed that it mattered.  After that I figured it wasn't a place for grown-ups.

Yep. Same place. Personally, I like bayonet lugs, just cause the commies don't want me to have them. Recon how many of those boys had 16" carbine barrels, that won't work with a bayonet? I have several with lugs, but only one that properly supports a bayonet.

They banned Bayonets in CT. Yet there has not been a single murder with a bayonet in the entire state of CT that I am aware of--I personally checked the last decade of state crime stats myself. Long arms (which may or may not be one defined as an "AW") were responsible for only 3 deaths in the state of CT from 2009, 2010, 2011 combined. Three. And for all we know they could have all been bolt action remmy 700s because the stats just say "long gun".

Yup. Definitely sounds like they care a lot about public safety. [/sarc] This year MAYBE 1 person will die from a rifle in this lib state, but AT LEAST 100 will die because of alcohol. stupid liberals.

True. Bayonets looks pretty scary. There is a nightmare epidemic amongst children between the ages of 3 and 15.

Omg. You crazy man. Who NEEDS a tactical super duper assault bayonet? It looks so scary.

It was actually a response to my libtard ex-girlfriend. She told me she was moving out because she couldn't live around all those guns and knives. My response... I wonder if I can get an A2 built before her whiny ass hits the door. I was successful, and got to use the classic line, "that's not a knife". :)
