Colt M16/M4 build

I finished this yesterday for a buddy of mine in Florida.

This will be under his Christmas tree as long as the ATF cooperates and gets his Form 4 approved in time.

Yeah, its a one owner Colt SP1 that was registered in early 1986.

Well I paid Joe a visit on Wed and Thurs. We hit the range and had a blast. About 300 rounds out of the M16 and it put one hell of a smile on my face. At first we had some jamming issues but once we put a heavier buffer in there she ate the rounds with no problem at all. I did a few three 30 round mag dumps and holy **** that was fun. I have to get a video next time.

We also took a Mark23 out there with a griffin armament aka hearing protection LLC can and it was quieter than a 22. When ever I get my 45 I am going to pick one up. Now I just need a can for my M16.

I can't say enough good thing about the folks at Hero-gear.
