Anyone care to meet Rep. Joe Carr Saturday morning?

Recommended Posts

I'm a member of the DCRP (Davidson County Republican Party) and every month we have a breakfast at Shoney's in the Hickory Hollow area for the Southeast DCRP. This month Rep. Carr will be speaking and with his recent gun bill I thought that some of you may want to show up and hear what he has to say about this. Most of the hour should be Q&A. We start gathering for breakfast @ 8am and the meeting will start at 9am. To get this room we had to agree to have attendees spend at least $8 so most will just get the breakfast bar and that will more than cover it. Other than spending a little with our host restaurant there are no other costs for attending.

This breakfast is a regular monthly event (3rd Sat. morning each month) and you are invited to come any time. Lots of interesting speakers.

Tell him about the probs with the bill naming only "semi automatic" weapons.

Needs to be "all currently legal firearms" or something comprehensive like that.

There are any number of firearms, or firearms which use banned items,  which will be on the ban list that aren't semi-auto.

Make sure to gather the folks up that show for this and tell them to go to the War Memorial in Nashville for the pro 2A gathering!

Arent we going to the Capitol also? And is there going to be something "inside" the War Memorial because I couldn't go inside if they have a gun buster sign at the entrance.

Okay it's pretty close to the Capitol, haven't been to the WM since the 80's. Also I found this on their site.

I really enjoyed meeting Rep.Carr this morning. After talking and listening to him I'm happy with the bill, HB0042 as written.

He is very passionate about what he doing and fighting for our states rights and standing up to the Feds. You guys who live in his district are fortunate to have him! I'll be more than happy to trade my Rep., Sherry Jones, anytime!

I wish more of our elected officials were like him!

Here is a link to an interview he did last night with Al Sharpton. Joe did a great job considering who he was being interviewed by!
