  2. ACLDN has been sold to CCW Safe Insurance Plan. As of July 9 CCW took over the plan for self-defense coverage should one be forced into a self-defense situation and need legal help. l was a member of ACLDN and have been for several years. The owners of the network want to retire and sold the network to CCW Safe. Everything remains the same until time to renew your membership. Haven't received any new info on the transition but the CCW says they will be in contact to all ACLDN members in the near future. The new conversion will be done soon in the future.
  3. Is this still available? Thank you

  5. Lowering the price to $450 obo in an attempt to let y'all know I am legit being this is my first item for sale on this forum. Feel free to ask questions or message if necessary.
  6. I like Otis’ stuff, but it is cheaper to buy the individual pieces you need for the bore and barrel cleaning. Instead of a bore snake, I use their cable with screw-on bore brush attached to pull through the barrel. Then switch to the slotted end attachment to pull through patches. For the rest of it, I use stuff from around the house or that you can get at the grocery or hardware store like @btq96r listed.
  7. These are the kinds of conversations you probably shouldn’t have in someone’s thread. Do your own research or post about it in the appropriate section.
  8. I completely agree. I’m in the process of SBRing a mini 14 or I’d be all over this.
  9. Make sure you pull the bore snake wet. If it’s difficult to pull, stand on the end of the snake and pull the rifle up off it with both hands. You’ll also want an AR chamber brush because a bore snake won’t do much to scrub the chamber clean, and you need the chamber clean for it to run well. Get a rod that won’t swivel so you can scrub the chamber with it.
  10. For outside, I went with these. For the 9mm, they are fine. They even seemed OK for the 5.56. I tried muffs on top of those, but they still seem to get in the way with the rifle.
  11. Find the highest NRR rated foam plugs and electronic muffs you can. I double up at all times. The db reduction isn’t directly additive, the muffs add maybe 5 additional db of reduction on top of the plugs, supposedly. Electronic muffs are the only way you’re going to hear range commands or conversation, but if you’re alone they aren’t necessary.
  12. You’ll want to post this in the classifieds.
  13. Located in Murfreesboro. Will come with 5 factory Smith and Wesson 15 round mags , all factory backstraps , optic plates and ibw kydex holster. Round count is around 350. $500 obo
  14. Safety Reminder for Buyers and Sellers This is an automatic reply meant to protect you as a buyer and a seller on TGO. Use the Buyer/Seller Feedback feature to research who you are dealing with. Please come back and leave feedback for each other after the transaction is complete. Your experience will help others. Never agree to use an electronic form of payment to buy or sell a gun! None of the electronic payment services will protect you against fraud in a firearms transaction. They all have terms of service FORBIDDING the use of their services to buy/sell guns. DON'T DO IT. Be very wary of anyone who insists on brokering a deal in private or outside of TGO. Scammers almost always prefer to operate out of the public eye. The complete Trading Post Rules and also some more helpful suggestions can be found by clicking this link. Everyone should read them at least once! ~~~ This was an automatic reply ~~~
  15. I'm looking to buy a nice Ruger #1 in 45-70. I have a very nice Marlin 1865 Lever gun in 45-70 to trade (plus cash from me) or I can do a cash-only deal. I'd like to be close enough for a face-to-face meeting and I'm willing to drive a couple hours any direction from Crab Orchard. Thanks for looking!
  16. I hate being a responsible adult or I would by this in a heartbeat.
