  1. For sale is a CZ 2075 D RAMI for $600. CZ discontinued this model in 2020 for some stupid reason because it's one of the coolest pistols they ever made. This one is located in La Vergne, TN, but I'll do my best to make a meetup convenient and easy, if I can. PM me if you have any questions or need a specific pic I left out. This RAMI is a 9mm subcompact with a 3" barrel This is a BD model with a decocking lever instead of a manual safety It comes with 2 mags: a 10-rounder for concealed carry and a 14-rounder with a sleeve for a bit more purchase on the gun The grips are G10 Starburst texture for extra grip (if I find the original thick rubber ones before it sells, I'll include them) The coyote brown Cerakote finish is not original. The previous owner had it done. Whoever they used did a spectacular job. It looks great, IMO! The original case, owners manual and other paperwork, and the original sights are included I took it to the range today and ran one of each mag through it before cleaning it up to be sold. It ran like a top and I almost didn't make this post, LOL. Here's some pics:

  2. PICS IN REPLIES, RAN OUT OF ALLOWABLE PICTURE POSTINGS. I drive through Knox every Saturday around Noon. I live in Tullahoma closer to Manchester. Can meet at I-24 and regularly go to Murfreesboro for work. But at 7am! If you want to meet for live fire I can meet you at Terry Walden outdoor range. A few miles NW of Manchester. US 41 and I24 exit. You pay your own 15 bucks admission though. https://maps.app.goo.gl/nZAumhhTCMdwfCAY9 WILL SHIP to your FFL, your expense. All regular money sending methods accepted. Venmo, Chime, discreet PP, cash app. Zelle etc. I'm pretty verbose but if you have questions 480 612 3085 text me. *means includes custom patch. ***means includes custom patch and LAPG soft case. Yes, all prices are in multiples of 20. So I don't have to get change. I don't carry cash. Glock 42. .380. 2 mags, Siderlock safety trigger. Lightened connector, clipdraw, extended slide stop. Will revert to stock if you like. Pinkie rest on one mag, +2 bottom on the other. Bought from Larry's in H'ville and fired maybe 50 times. Spare ghost connector, stock sights. Light burnish on right side of slide. I have clamshell box. Want a spare box of .380? You got it. S&B ball. $440.00 SPM Firewatchnash Taurus 689 vent rib stainless vent rib .357 6" bbl. 1994 gun. A few handling marks and pimptastic grips! Bought from some dork on Armslist years ago. Sent him money as soon as he gave me a UPS tracking number. Shot it maybe 60 times. If that. Have taken it afield hunting a few times. Want 94 rounds of Eddy's reloads for it? You got it. $440.00 THE STOEGERS Stoeger STR9. A very VERY underrated pistol. Feels great in the hand. Glock-ish mechanicals with a HK VP9/S&W SV9 aesthetic. I have FIVE. Except for the Sport/Combat, none are Optics Ready. Steel mags, steel sights. Takes many Glock parts like connectors, striker springs, underwater firing pin cups, triggers with slight mod and 2 have Clipdraws which are modified S&W M&P backplate thickness reduced by a nominal .017" I have the take off backplates if you'd like it restored. Custom parts listed with each gun. ALL 9mm! NIB, 9mm Sport/Combat with Swampfox Kingslayer. Threaded bb with protectorl, 3-20rd magazines, box, lock, manual, loader, backstraps, optics mounting plates straight trigger, tall fiber optic adjustable sights, cool competition magwell, Box and mounts for Kinsglayer included. Large green circle/cross reticle. $660.00 Bone Stock except mounting the sight. NIB, full size 4.6" black pistol, 15rd, box, oversleeve, loader, cool rubber band for the grip. (marital aid if you've got the length to spare?), want an spare NIW mag? You got it. $320.00 ***Fired <100x, FDE full size, this one came with factory paddle holster, 3 mags, backstraps, loader, that cool rubber band again, box and sleeve are beat up. I've done some trigger work to this and it has a short, smooth Johnny Glocks custom trigger with all the takeup nearly removed. Shoots nice. $460.00 ADD Factory threaded bbl and another mag to either of these for $100. I whined and carped at them for 2 years to import threaded barrels. Got one and then never fired either full size gun with a can on it. (yeah...I know) They are "just different enough" from a Glock barrel that no one would make me one. Fired <100x, FDE Compact 13rd with finger rest. Was considering for EDC...but went back to Gen 2 G19 instead. Did some trigger work on it. Clipdraw modded and installed. A spare full size NIW magazine? Sure. $360.00 The .45s ***Ruger P90, .45ACP My spirit broken, I've given up ever finding a Federal Ordnance/Dasan Korea threaded barrel for it. I've searched, literally for years. Sold dozens at Gun Shows back in the 90s, some in .400 CorBon! Bought it private sale from some dude who thought he "did me" by selling me a gun with a broken mag release spring. (Gunsmith since 1994 dude!) Ruger sent me 2. I might be able to find the other one but I doubt it. It's a KP, Stainless. Decocker. I polished the slide a bit to remove some handling scuffs and it wears Williams Fire Sights. I didn't install them. I have installed a heavier recoil spring and lighter hammer spring and done a tiny bit of polishing and the DA is much lighter, less gritty and SMOOOOOOOTH. I'm a big movie dork and I had some custom Walnut grips made with the District 9 KUDU logo on them. Topped with Hogue Stainless grip screws. Includes 4 or 5 Factory 7rd magazines. The 8rd ones have a flaw where the follower jumps the slide stop and binds up the whole gun. $440.00 ***Tisas 1911 US ARMY pistol. That great Greenish cerakote. Fired maybe 50x. I have the box and manual. I have 4 repro NSN numbered magazines from Sarco but they STICK in the gun. UGH. Don't know why and don't shoot it enough to care. Got some clear "Sweetheart" grips from Amazon. Found some sweet pin ups and had the pics printed on photo paper and painstakingly fitted them to the gun. Sexy nurse on one side and demure redhead on the other. PLUS, custom Savoy Leather holster and mag carrier for it. Savoy did not survive Covid (RIP Bros) and so this will never be made again. Green Open top canted belt OTW holster friction fit, with P40 theme shark mouth and eye, and WW2 aircraft insignia, aircraft panel and rivets embossing, Plus 2 mag carrier to match. The carrier got a small scuff on it during the most recent move. (I am Jack's broken heart) Pistol and leather, $1000.00 A real head turner combo. No one has anything like this. I had it made to my weird obsession du jour and waited months to get it. ***Star Megastar .45. Starvel Nickel finish. Stock except for orange paint in the front sight, and longer product improved safety/decock levers. I have the originals if you want them. Magazine safety removed. Can reinstall or tell you how. It's very easy. THREE Nickel factory magazines included. 12rds ea. Built like a tank. There aren't many parts for these but my advice is to SHOOT IT. It's a pussycat and a 3lb one at that! Star made ~5500 of these in .45 and <900 in 10mm. (Mags for these are obscene, usually 125-150 ea) My 10mm not for sale. The .45 is. $900.00 The 10mm ***Glock 20 in bizarre ATACs camo from Factory. I have box and manuals, GEN 4. Has spare backstraps, Came with 3 15rd mags, I have FOUR? more, never used, removed from packaging included, Replaced front sight with blank insert, mounted Swampfox Kingslayer on rear sight plate. Camo has texture like it was installed with a sponge. Really weird and unique. Johnny Glocks smooth short trigger with pretravel removed, lighter connector, Replaced black parts with Vickers dark FDE parts, pins, slide stop, mag release, takedown latch. Kyle Rittenhouse FAFO backplate A really interesting and capable hunting handgun. Fired <100x $900.00 I'll miss this one. Can only find 5 mags total. Maybe some got lost in the move. Or are in the box in the attic. The Stars, or to be more precise, STAR DA pistols with metal frames. It has been my intention for many years to do a series of videos on these interesting (to me) series of pistols and their evolution. Sadly Star as a company was killed by a combination of Socialist government meddling and the AWB 94, the one the serial sexual predator and rapist Billy Jeff Klintoon was so proud of. Sadly, I'll never get around to this. The time and expense to do it properly is just not something I have in great quantity. If such posterity is to be embarked upon, it should be done properly or not at all. And so, this sell off represents years of collecting the best I could find with the hopes of documenting them on video and talking about them at length. ***The Pioneer. Star 28M. Submitted for trials in the mid 80s, this was Stars effort to make a Wondernine. A non hammer drop safety, where the action still worked... (think .22 Firefly, or Walther P22, you engage the safety but the action still works, click click, hammer falls but FP is retracted.) ...was found to be disconcerting to most shooters. S&W 1st Gen dating from the mid-late 50s had trigger disconnect and hammer drop, so did the eventual winner, Beretta 92. This peculiarity is on ALL the Stars until the 31Ps which have a reversed slide mounted safety with a hammer drop feature. This pistol is a full size 15rd DA/SA handgun with adjustable rear and fixed front sight. It has Plum-ish bluing hues and the original hard plastic grips, which never survived a drop on a hard surface. These were replaced later by rubber grip panels with metal cores. Windage adjustible rear sight. This pistol is gorgeous tho. 28M marked, there are some "28DA" marked ones, they are identical guns. No mag safety, I can reinstall for collector purposes $600.00 ***The Standard bearer, Star 30MI Nickeled by Metalife. Bought this one cheap on GB, has some light pitting which was made more noticeable by nickel plating at Mahovsky's Metalife in PA. Did the magazine too. Small parts Cerakoted flat black. Windage adj rear sight. Action is REALLY smooth. No mag safety $480.00 ***The Road Dog, Star 28PK, compact alloy frame. Slightly smaller yet takes same 15rd mags. This 30M variant has some finish and frame wear but still 80%. For some stupid reason I ground on the mags for it and removed the ledge for the mag safety which has been removed. This was dumb. Not sure why I did it. I used to drink. I don't anymore. $380.00 ***La Policia, Star 30P, compact steel frame. A very rare variant, <900 made, the compact above with steel frame for Police service in Spain. 1 mag. Mag Safety intact. $500.00 ***The oddball. Star 31P, Starvel in .40 12rd with 2-11rd S&W 4006 mags modified to fit. A major design change. Notable for 2 big reasons. It was the ONLY metal frame DA/SA .40 ever made by Star. The Ultrastar was a single-stack polymer frame hammer fired gun and the Firestar was a heavy all steel single action carry pistol. This big boy was meant to be a duty gun. Hammer drop decocking slide mounted safety. HEAVY steel frame. Overbuilt. Mags are a problem. Unobtainium and plain enough to not be easily spotted. So I bought some 9 dollar 4006 mags from CDNN and modded them to remove a bump stamped into them (to preclude them from being put in 5906 guns) and a slight mod to the locking area and VOILA! 9 dollar mags for an obscure gun. Yay me. /rolls eyes How about i include 100 rounds of Syntech ball ammo and 59 rounds of Win HP ammo? Sure. $500.00 ***The Failed heir, Star 31P in Starvel. Really nice 9mm version. Includes nickel mag and box, still has warning tag on the trigger guard. Mag Safety intact. $500.00 ***The Plain heir, Star 31P blued. 1 mag. 9mm. $480.00 BUY EM ALL ($3500) and I'll include an out of print coffee table book "Star Firearms" by Leonardo M. Antaris. if you can find this book which covers Star pistols and the company's history from it's beginning to it's end, it's 300 dollars and up. You'll be lost for hours in this book. 630 color pages hundreds of detailed photos, pistols, SMGs, everything Star ever made and some stuff that never got produced., large format with cover. Exc condition. A couple more to add later. My eyes are burning and now I have to switch to phone to add pics.

  6. Alright, update on this post...thanks for all of the info, advice, and tips on this post. As of right now, I am awaiting my very first AR-15 5.56 16" to arrive at my FFL in just a couple of days! After all my research, the info I received here, and a sale I could NOT pass up for Father's Day, I will be the proud owner of a Watchtower Type 15M. I will be setting up a small shooting range on my property this week and moving it to the back of my property later this year. Might as well make use of the 17 acres we own out here. Planning on providing pics once the rifle gets here, as well as pics of the range evolution. Looking forward to this new adventure, and yes, safety first and member of GOA, NRA, and USCCA to help further my education. Will be hitting a few ranges in the next month or so as well just to stretch my legs a bit. Hope y'all don't mind joining my pride in this journey as well!

  9. I picked this up here on the forum in a trade. It's a gorgeous gun and it shoots great, I just never take it to the range. I fired exactly 12 rounds and put it in the safe. PM me if you have any question and I'll do my best to answer them. Price: $700, Location: La Vergne, TN Would trade for 9mm/.223/5.56 ammo.

  10. Clearing out another one that has been sitting in the back of the safe. I purchased this new in 2009, less than 500 rounds fired. This is piston operated and has the 14.7” pin & welded barrel. It’s in great condition with some scratches on muzzle break and a spot on the top picatiny rail where an optic was mounted. Gun has functioned flawlessly and is very accurate. No box or papper work. The only modifacation is the Strike Industries extended charging handle latch (will come with the original). Will include lightly used (less than 50 rounds) Geissele SSA-E trigger. $1300 FTF in or around Fairview, Dickson, Franklin. Buyer must be at least 21 and legal to own a firearm, will need to show a TN DL or carry permit.

  11. Tisas Regent fully Stainless HP copy. I made sure this was well built by looking very hard at the machining and metalwork before I bought it. Stainless has been a pox on guns, especially handguns for awhile. With SS usually coming in a few flavors with varying disadvantages. Ruger, which is often NOT stainless, or cast. AMT, which is galling and cast. Turkish guns seem to get the "skunk eye" from many people. So, before I bought this, having always wanted a SS BHP I took it all apart and looked it over very hard, looking for swirls, mold marks, punchouts, ridges from casting, etc...The machining on these Tisas HPs is PERFECT. I mean, amazing. The Belgians never made a SS BHP. They nickel plated some and chromed some, but never stainless. I'm positive that while some of the small parts on these Tisas guns are cast or MIM, the slide, barrel and frame are machined from billet. So I put this package together and like most of my BHPs, NEVER shoot it. It's just collecting dust. Tisas Stainless Regent BR9 with the following....Every Cylinder and Slide custom part offered at the time. Chromed extended slide stop. Extended safety (blued), billet firing pin stop, billet extractor, billet sear, billet wide combat trigger, billet "no bite" hammer, full set of new springs. Greenish G10 grips. Stainless buttonhead cap screw grip screws. Removed mag safety, of course. Installed it all and cleaned up the trigger, light but not so light as to be dangerous for EDC. PLUS: Box, cleaning tools, manual, lock, 2 13rd MecGar mags which came with it. PLUS: 5 Stainless 15rd flush fit Mec-Gar magazines, loaded but never used. (Ooooh, so shiny!) PLUS: a nice LAPG pistol rug and custom patch (like I do all my handguns) PLUS: a Lone Wolf threaded barrel, fitted to the pistol cause shooting suppressed is fun. PLUS: ALL the takeoff parts, the wood grips, pins, grip screws and parts removed for the C&S parts. Trade interests. G49, Daewoo Rifles or parts. Or whatever, maybe you have something I can't live without. Worst I can say is No. 480 612 3085 for more pics or to express interest. ds_sierra@live.com

  15. Good for you, TNPhil. You haven't mentioned, but In case you don't yet have a scattergun 12ga, it's just a primo "nice to have", inside the abode or out. Incredible versatility, especially on some acreage. Even a beater has-been from a pawn shop can do. I've cut a handful of 28" full chokers down to 18 1/2", trimmed the stock to 12.5", and they sit at 34" overall. (About the average short AR platform.) A simple squaring off & chamfering and these now "cylinder bore" bbl's print slugs at 60yds at 7", just like my 870 Rem Wingmaster pump with the slug bbl/ sights. At night, inside the abode, it's hard to better a scattergun with 00 or #4's in the hands of your loved ones.

  20. Ohhhh,,45-70, Nice. So, JustEd: Can't really go wrong with that 308, great resale either way. (30-30 or 308). My old 308's are often popped off with (reloads) loaded down to 30-30 velocities, so a good excuse for to getting into reloading. Just saying. I really can't afford to shoot over the counter $$ as much as I shoot. Compass . . 45-70 (loads) can be had at 30-30 recoil or outright tear-making brutal for pissed-off 400 lb gone-feral hogs. Any guy buying a 45-70 (you) knows this . . I'm just trying to temp JustEd. I love my 45-70's.

  24. Quite honestly, you would be much better off just buying guns in the configuration you want. Gunsmithing is expensive and the guns will never sell for anything close to what you have in it. Once modified from original, S&Ws value drops considerably. You'd just be wasting your money. Granted, 3" K-frames are hard to come by and expensive, but they are out there.

  27. Hi Will, I agree with your point. Just a clarification regarding Baby Face Nelson was shot 17 times is a misquote from the press due to a misunderstanding of the statement from J. Edgar Hoover stating "seven to ten wounds" to Nelson's body. In reality, Nelson received one .45 slug from an FBI agent Crowley’s machine gun to his lower abdomen that would eventually kill Nelson later that evening. Nelson also received 8 buckshot pellets to his legs by FBI agent Hollis. Unfortunately, both FBI agents were killed. Agent Crowley died at the hospital from his wounds and agent Hollis died at the shootout scene when he was shot in the head by Baby Face Nelson. The details of the shootout event are at the link below. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baby_Face_Nelson#Death

  29. If you want a rifle for home defense, go with a PCC in 9mm or .45. Or a lever action in .357 Magnum (.38 spl) or .44 Magnum (.44spl). Both magnum calibers can and are used for hunting.

  30. I love love love my 308 Henry Long Ranger. I honestly think Henry may have the smoothest actions on the market right now. I collect Marlin levers, well to be honest, I collect anything lever action, and Henry is making a very solid rifle right now. I don't think 308 is really an oddball caliber and is pretty easy to sell. It's a very popular round and you can find ammo anywhere. Plus I have 308 bolt action rifles and AR10s so it's not really adding a caliber for me. I would pick the 308 over the 30-30 all day long. With that said I have the 30-30 as well and it's very nice but give me the 308 every time.
