  1. To the OP. The place has two perimeters. One outer one has all the camping. You park your car and pitch a tent outside it. You can leave your pistol in the car the whole time obviously. When you go up to see the shows you must go through another perimeter where you are patted down each time. They dont allow outside beer or obvious drugs through. I never saw them take a weapon but both of the previous several times.
  2. I went in 2007 and stayed sober the entire time. Yes a lot of hippies were there but I had a very good time and would go for another trip again. This year looks exceptionally good also.
  3. Ill take my chances.
  4. I don't get it either. I was a trained unit armorer and was never told anything about detail stripping wearing out the parts faster. The weapons we used in class were detail stripped down to individual pieces hundreds of times and were going to be put right back into the pool of weapons to be used.
  5. I like to see how things work.
  6. I have used both. Aimpoint M68 in Iraq and Eotech here at home. I dont see a huge difference personally. For poking holes in paper or home defense I'd go with the more economical choice unless money is no option. In that case I would get an ACOG with a small red dot as back up for close in.
  7. 1911 is super easy IMO. I normally learn to detail strip them all. I have recently aquired a J-frame revolver that I have not detail striped yet. My 10/22 was probably the most difficult. I wont be taking it all the way down again. I have done all US army small arms + ruger 10/22, sig sauer p226 and p225, m1911 multiple versions, glock g19, savage model 10, mosin nagant, and an old single shot 12 gauge.
  8. I catch myself calling the sub compact 40 a g36... no idea why it sticks in my head like that.
  9. I was watching the UFC on VS until I came to bed a few minutes ago. Just hhecking tgo before sleep.
  10. The Scene is a weekly free paper focusing on younger adult issues like the Metro Pulse in Knoxville and it sounds like the Memphis flier as well.
  11. Someone post the text. I cant check it from work.
  12. You are not bothering me a bit. I feel much the same way.

  14. Urban Dictionary: hooah
  15. I am going to be pickig up a saiga soon... I need to read up on thsi when I get home so making a post to be able to bookmark it.
  16. Matt Damon said hooah correctly also which isn't done often.
  17. Sets, extras, props(for the most part), wardrobe, dialogue. All was correct. I enjoyed it a lot. The movie is set right as we enter Baghdad and the couple of weeks following until Pres. Bush declares an end to major hostilities. Right wingers won't like it.
  18. fixed
  19. Badass. It gets right what hurt locker didn't IMO.
  20. I'd come down but I will still be out of town for work.
