    I am liking this one , I need a host for my 5.56 suppressor in .22LR that is not a pistol. I am just not sure I would rather not have a Savage bolt action like my .17HMR .......

    Just picked up a set from Lowes , nice and rubbery , I think these will work fine ! I am going to drill the center hole a little larger.

    I am wanting to remove 1 or 2 hiders , they are not pinned or welded. I have receiver vices but from what I have read on the interweb I am afraid I might damage the upper or barrel if I don't buy barrel vises or cut some wood.   What is the general consensus here ?
