  1. Toyota Avalon is all you need to know.
  2. Were you OCing? I may have missed that if previously stated. If so,good for you. He's probably still mad he didn't make 5-0. I met some of those types when i drove an armored truck. .
  3. I believe I'd spend 100 on ammo or nice holster for a nice gun that i already own. Or a good flashlight which is more practical.
  4. Never been to Frontier. Heard a lot of complaints and read some bad reviews online. That makes me not want to make a special trip out there. If i ever am going that way anyway, then I'll probably stop.
  5. I've always wanted one for 22 hornet. 45 Colt and 35 Remington might be fun too.
  6. I'm not impressed for the money for general internet use. If used heavily for work maybe. If you want everyone at the Barnes & Noble cafe to see your fancy Apple logo lit up,it's worth it. If you like going to the mall for service,It might be worth it If your just doing email and browsing, get a regular PC. And install Ubuntu 10.4 or 10.10 You could also look at the new Google Chrome books but i think they are overpriced for what you get.
  7. Good for you going back. I would have paid to be a fly on the wall for that.
  8. If I felt like I was in harms way,I would shoot anything and anyone that was a threat with no regard to race, creed, color, gender, or sexual/political preference.
  9. I never said they were easy to get. Just that they are "available". I was surprised how many folks there actually do have them. I have never met anyone with a Mass non resident permit. Unfortunately a lot of the discretion is up to your chief of police. Same as in Corrupticut if your town has it's own Police Dept. Many Police Chiefs are anti gun. Not so much in more rural areas. When I lived in CT . The Glastonbury police dept. broke many of the State laws in regard to background checks on applicant's. They would even call your wife and ask about your behavior and state of mind! They would call your immediate neighbors as well! The State gun board and the local depts. make up there on laws based on their opinions or the opinions of their handlers. All in all it is A LOT easier to get a permit in CT than in Mass. Some smaller town dept's in CT are not completely anti gun but I can assure you,all the major cities there are. But then they are also all sanctuary cities also. Many rural towns in CT do not have their own PD and are serviced by the State Police. The whole transaction for permits with them are much faster and a lot less complicated. You're a lot less likely to see a harassment from the State Police. I never bothered getting a permit there because I knew I wasn't staying. It was a strange experience and I'm glad it didn't last longer than 6 years. Pretty damn sad this is where it all started for our country and by the looks of it may end there.
  10. Good to hear this. Thank you for your service. I wish i could have afforded to go at the time. It was frustrating not being able to go.
  11. You can have a handgun in Mass. You can get a resident or non resident CCW there too. They will look for any reason afterwards to revoke it. If your shirt is blown up by a gust of wind and someone calls in a MWAG you will not only lose your permit but also most likely face charges. After all, their license plates says " The Spirit of America" LOL
  12. I can order it or pick it up in my travels.
  13. I give what I get when you come to my window. If you're a jerk,I respond accordingly and I have driven away from a few of those without a ticket and some even with an apology. If you come to my window friendly and civilized, that is what I will respond with. Everyone has bad days but it doesn't give you the right to take your emotions out on the public, badge or not. I can't and wouldn't if I could.
  14. I have run into a lot more than one bad cop. I have dealt with a lot of good ones. What I don't understand is,people like myself can't be the only ones that know these guys are bad. Their co workers would know too I would think. Take the officer in the Canton Ohio incident,he wasn't the only officer in the video. Where the other officers condoning his behavior, are they just like him? He took all the heat which I think he deserved heat but there was never any mention of the other officers being investigated or even reprimanded! There was also that officer in Baltimore that went after those skateboarders and the kid with the R/C car. No other cops watch Youtube? They don't want co workers that act like this gone? The behavior gives the Dept. and other officers as a whole a bad image, like it or not.
  15. I like a brand called Helle, made in Norway . More of a hunting knife but they are SHARP! SMKW used to carry a lot of them but not so much anymore. Used to be a bunch on Feebay.
  16. I didn't mean to upset anyone here. I was just venting about some characters I ran across in the woods over the years. Some I even hunted with for the last time..
  17. I have done the same. I had a young buck come in while I was peeing out of the stand. It was strange but now I just pee on my boots before heading out to my hunting spot.
  18. You guys are making me hungry. I haven't gotten a deer since 1998. Can't wait to go hunting again!
  19. You want confusing? Check out the Connecticut hunting regs! They gave me a headache trying to figure them out. Luckily I knew a DEP agent and he would clarify things for me. Usually he thought they were assinine too. Michigan was always pretty good actually. I haven't read it in a while. May have changed. Michigan DNR officers were usually pretty cool and understanding and willing to help.
  20. !Pawn shops around Knoxville are full of them. go in and haggle!
  21. Thank you and God bless all those that lost their lives in the line of duty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you and God bless all the Military and GOOD cops and Firemen women out there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cannot thank you enough!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you and God bless your families as well!!!!!!!!!!!!
