  1. Exactly what i was thinking
  2. A magnum research bfr custom chambered in. 50alaskan
  3. for the Big % you will need either a modern .45/70Govt rifle capable of taking HOT loads or a .458WinMag/.458Lott/.460WeatherbyMag.

    .357 Sig ?

i would think that LE would be using service sized pistols, and in that length of barrel, .357sig typically has about a 200fps advantage over 9x19mm. which is enough to give them an advantage in penetrating car doors, which is most likely why they chose the round
  5. Swarovski or nightforce is good, maybe see if leupold has a high enough powered scope for 1000yd.
  6. Hk usp, hk45, hk p30, beretta 92, sigs, bhp, single action revolvers, desert eagle, more double action revolvers,
  7. S&W sigma has a similar angle
  8. Ncstar sux, I hear bushnell is good for the money
  9. They have been talking about changing the m4 for a while now just like the pistol. Ill believe it when I see it
  10. Probably not gonna be in your price range but your lookin at a 1911, hi power, sig-sauer, 3rd gen s&w, desert eagle, beretta 92, walther ppk. Then of course the saturday night specials, raven, jennings, bryco, etc.
  11. Is a polymer frame ok or do you want a metal frame?
  12. 2wd always sux more on snow and ice than fwd or 4x4
  13. Thanks for the heads up, been looking for a cheaper light than a surefire backup I'm constantly getting crap for carrying a $120 light everyday
  14. I would have thought the cartels would have access to full autos, that is what surprises me.
  15. Every company has occasional problems just some more than others
  16. If you must stay within your $500 range I'd say get either an ak or a 44mag lever action, I wouldn't rely on a pistol caliber carbine for my bug out long arm. There's not much a pistol caliber carbine can do that a hi cap pistol can't. Make sure you have a good pistol though there are many times when you would need a pistol more than a rifle

    Tipping.

I most always tip 20% + I have tipped 100% before but never less than 10% I never know that if somebody just had a lot of people to serve and didn't get back to me or what but most times if they are a server, they aren't in the best financial shape and what's a few extra dollars to me most times
  18. Is it the compactness that makes this so much more desirable than the m82a1?
  19. Gotta say its one of the best shows out there now imho
  20. What season is it because I've been watching season 1 on dvd and its pretty good
  21. I tend to NOT buy stuuf that has tactical on it
  22. A thompson is very nice but heavy. If I could have say a hk usc with ump conversion witha 16" barrel would be a dream but I don't belive its possible due to 922R. And the thing I like about a .45acp carbine is truly big bore punch at short ranges with a high capacity, if I could get 30 rounds of .458socom in a reasonably sized mag in an ar I'd much rather have that
  23. X2 to everything that has been said in this thread so far.
  24. Its ok but it lokks big, its expensive for a taurus and its low capacity in 40 and 45m For the life of me I don't understand why nobody can make a truly high cap 45 carbine, seems like it would be easy and sell good
  25. we need a setup like that in TN
