  1. And the ar can do anything from small game to deer to hogs and even bear.
  2. The only steel .22 pistols im aware of are the ruger mkii and iii and the cz75kadet. Dont think the cz takes optics though
  3. Carry the 9 concealed and easily accessible and carry the .454 in a chest rig
  4. I have wanted to do up an ar in artic white camo for a while now. Not very useful camo wise around here but would be different. But if you havent done a black ar and a tan one those should be first Also you might consider some other calibers like .300blk, .50gi, .50ae, 7.62x25tokarev, 6.8, .458socom etc
  5. If you take care of your guns they dont rot or rust. Polymer and stainless is for people who dont respect their weapons. Where are all the rotted out stocks on mosins?
  6. Not to throw a wrench in plans, but IMO i wouldnt trust rossi for a shtf gun. I would stick with ruger s&w or colt just my opinion
  7. Why does it have to be so fugly? What is so wrong with walnut and blued steel?
  8. Blackout is essentially a 5.56 necked up to .30 cal that uses standard 5.56 mags and mimicks 7.62x39.
  9. Ruger 10/22 Some sort of quality blued 1911 Lwrc m6a3 in black Coonan classic in black
  10. Use 12/2UF, as earlier stated. Being for the kids id probably put it on a GFCI either an outlet or breaker. Only electrical permit needed by state is if you pull the meter which you wont need to do. Im not famaliar with the building permit requirements. It really only has to be a few inches under ground but it sure wont hurt to go deeper. You dont want to cut inti it later.
  11. Link doesnt work. Im disappointed.
  12. Dig a ditch. 12" deep if you put the wire in conduit, 18" deep if using direct burial wire. If using direct burial use pvc conduit sweeps on each end to avoid damaging the wire with a weedeater or such. Connect the wire at the house to an unused breaker or fuse in your panel. Black is power and goes to the fuse or breaker screw, white is neutral and green or bare copper is ground and neutral and ground go to the ground bar in the panel. Assuming this is just 120v. Be very careful working inside the panel as its possible to short something out and potentially KILL YOU. HIGHLY suggest getting a professional to do this. The end at the playhouse, just mount a single gang wall box and install a receptacle and go from there with whatever you need. If available, you can alternatively put a male plug end on the end at the house and just plug in to an outside receptacle. That would allow an easy disconnect to cut off power to the playhouse. I suggest if going this route to change the outside receptacle cover to an in use cover which allows it to remain weatherproof with something plugged in. If you need 240v or more than 20amps of power, disregard all of this and call an electrician. I was a residential electrician for 6 years.
  13. Try to find a s&w M&P15 sport
  14. I picked up a knife from x manufacturer, its a better well recognized name but was curious about what steels are better without saying oh its made by so and so it must be good. The blade is 154CM. Hows quality on a blade like that good, middle of the road, or not so good. Its a folding pocket knife if it matters. I only ask because i tend to be very hard on my day to day tools
  15. The name is misleading The. 44mag actually uses a .429 bullet. I feel its a good all around caliber
  16. Do you mean the fs2000 or the ps90? Never heard of a ps2000?
  17. That is just wrong. But a standard lever action with a threaded barrel and suppressor would be very useful. There is a video on youtube of a marlin .44mag lever action shooting specials with a suppressor and it sounds very quiet. Would be even better with .45colt or even a custom .50cal like .50gi or .50ae
  18. Its a company MTM Case Guard. Google is your friend.
  19. Lack of capacity
  20. With red dots you really do get what you pay for. Id get an aimpoint and save for it if you have to
  21. Registered machine guns, they go up in price every year. Really anything not made anymore and in high demand, such as colt double action revolvers, etc.
  22. It would be a lot cooler if someone actually made it and sold it and somehow a semiauto version wasnt a nfa regulated sbr or aow
  23. The rhino takes the simplicity of a revolver and chucks it out the window. Ever seen a cutaway of the thing? It will make you go cry in a closet in the fetal position just thinking about doing a complete teardown.
  24. DaddyO, in that case the zombie apocalypse isnt the only thing you should "not think about". Not to be pessimistic but how about nuclear war ( not that far fetched anymore), multiple natural disasters resulting in a national shortage of everything except what is produced locally, biological or chemical terrorist attack, or a number of other things that would cause specialized things like prescription medicines to become unavailable. For some thats what the zombie apocalypse is all about, preparing for the unthinkable, because if you can survive zombies your pretty well capable of making it through an extended natural disaster on a regional level which is more likely or almost anything else.
  25. My thoughts exactly. Then again maybe it would then be ok to open carry because even if the bad guy did get your gun it wouldnt work? Lol
