  1. That was for trying to sell a firearm outside of the classifieds, without authorization. This OP in this case is authorized to post for-sale ads in the classifieds, and I'm sure will do so if he decides to sell this item, which is why this question is completely relevant.
  2. I saw one once... I believe it sold for $750. That was a couple years ago.
  3. A knife is easier to carry than a rock.

    Sig P239

I had one in .357sig for a long time... carried it everywhere. Very smooth shooter, surprisingly accurate. My only complaint was the weight, as far as carrying it went.
  5. I always do... after triple checking the chamber is clear. Dry firing really only hurts rimfires (unless you sit there and do it over and over for hours until your firing pin breaks)
  6. .223rem... because it's so easy to install a .22lr conversion kit for plinking, and .223 is plenty for anything you might need to shoot, besides large game.
  7. Why not a signature loan from your bank?
  8. The closest example would be prohibition... there would be a variety of responses.

    Where to go?

I have never been given grief about doing such things at On Target... but others experiences may vary.
  10. I'm not a big fan of optics on shotguns... They offer no advantages over a laser or front night-sight and a light, especially if you have to fumble to turn them on or constantly readjust their zero due to the heavy recoil. But if you got one, I'd recommend something small and unobtrusive, perhaps like one of the Doctor holosights.
  11. If I had to have only one shotgun... I'd go with a Mossberg or Remington pump.
  12. Maybe they got it from Oprah?
  13. I agree... minus "TV commercials with"

    First Shotgun

I've always been a fan of the Mossburg 590 (and the new 930), no shell lifter to get in the way when loading quickly, is the main reason.
  15. I'd stay away from Fobus, except as a range holster... nothing wrong with the company or design, they are just flimsy and use a weak plastic. Find one holster that will last you 10 years is better than ten you have to replace every year (or will break on you in a bad situation). I like Don Hume, Safariland, Blackhawk, Galco, and Bianchi OWB holsters... try a bunch, they all fit and draw differently.
  16. Party at my place on the 21st!!!
  17. I'm sure it was just a little singed from re-entering the earth's atmosphere head-first after his morning jog around the solar system.
  18. Yeahhh... I don't tend to put a whole lot of credence in crudely-translated, media-hyped, hallucigen-induced mumbo jumbo... no matter how old it is. Now zombies... there's a real worry...
  19. I am predominatly a pistol shooter, myself... Only have a couple rifles/shotguns more-or-less out of necessity.
  20. HA HA HA HA HA HA.... ...that is HILARIOUS!...
  21. exactly... Nothing wrong with wanting to buy a firearm, but whether or not the seller of the firearm you want to buy is willing to take a trade, or has any interest in what you have to trade is up to them, and should be a privately arranged part of your transaction. Thank you

    Hand guns

Anything mechanical can break... and odds are that it will at some point. I'd look at the large number of reported failures as indicating a small segment of a vast and quickly growing number of weapons in the market, owned for the most part by folks who are inexperienced at shooting and/or maintaining their weapon. Some of the best and most reliable firearms ever produced are being made right now, but there will always be a few failures due to mechanical issues, maintenance issues, ammo issues or operator error... there are simply more of us yahoos on the interwebz talking about them.
  23. I dunno if it's the cheapest, but Georgia-Arms (www.georgia-arms.com) is finally shipping .45acp again, I just got an order fulfilled for $400/case of 1k - 230gr FMJ. They treat me right, so I keep my business there as far as bulk target ammo and will always recommend them.
  24. I've always had good experiences at Chik-Fil-A... OCing or CCing, they can have my business any day. +1
  25. I'm not a DR at all... but just knowing the chemical makup of copaxone as primarily a polymer of 4 essential and non essential amino acids, which are readily available seperately as OTC supplements, it would possibly behoove you to consider researching and stocking up on those in lieu of a perscription shortage... Lysine Glutamic Acid Alanine Tyrosine Take that for what it's worth... but there are always alternatives. I feel for ya though, and would be right there with ya as far as doing whatever is necessary to ensure the well-being of loved ones.
