  1. Glad I'm not the only one that cusses like a sailor when I use the new crap.   Mike. They still make 5 gallon plastic ones, but the spouts and lids all have "childproof" and "spillproof" "features."
  2. LOL! I managed to pick up some as well!
  3.   That's probably what I should have done.   But still, the new crap on gas cans is retarded.
  4.   LOL. How'd you guess?   Two Kerosene cans from Lowes. But I've had this little rant in my head every time I've bought a new gas can for the last year or so, since they passed that new law about "safe gas cans."
  5. Could I super pretty F#$%ing please buy a Gas Can?   Not a lowest common denominator "this is a safe gas can" gas can.   A gas can.   A can. With a lid. That just works. That I don't have to cut all the stupid "There are idiots in the world and we have to make this can safe for them" *Features* off of before it will work like a 1950s tin gas can?   Thank you.   P.S. $4.59/gallon for Kerosene? Are you F#$%ing kidding me?
  6. That's definitely a "K".    And it looks like a duck to me as well.
  7. Sorry for your loss.   In our house, pets are Family too, and I know know what it's like when we lose one.
  8. Sounds very similar to the story that inspired the "Amityville Horror."   Son goes nuts, kills whole family.   The Son may have finally had enough teasing over his name. (Just a theory.)
  9. Florida will suspend your license if your insurance company reports a lapse in coverage.
  10. The lunacy that these lawmakers think is "reasonable" never ceases to amaze me.   I asked a liberal friend of mine (and I use that term loosely these days) what he thought some "Common Sense" and "Reasonable" restrictions would be to his 1st Amendment rights.   He still hasn't answered.
  11.   Because banning cars would get them a screaming mass of resistance. Everyone "needs" their car, and understands why others need theirs.   No one needs a "military style assault weapon with a 30 round "clip" and a shoulder thing that goes up."   Think back to the war on SUVs. Same arguments were made.   Dead on David; I'd add Big Gulps, Salt, Pizza day at school, etc.
  12. I love the "question" from HuffPo... "are you willing to admit that the NRA is a fringe group?"   Coming from a fringe group, that's ironic.   Don'tcha think?   Nothing these Antis say anymore surprises me.
  13.   Apparently, the Ivory towers work pretty well.   I'm all for David's suggestion, just pointing what we are up against.
  14. My new 4 month old boy. 40lbs and growing.
  15. Mike, it's always been my understanding that the whitewater rapid scenes were filmed at Ocoee and the wide calm river shots were shot in GA. Not 100% sure, but it's a fun razz for people going to Ocoee. = P
