Hard cover issue, 1994 printing, no yellowing of pages, or tears, excellent condition. Classic book written by legendary lawman Bill Jordan, who passed in 1997. He was the one who influenced S&W to produce the Model 19 and 66. I saw Jordan at Bianchi Cup 1987. Didn't meet him as he was surrounded by his entourage, but cool I was standing 15' from fame. Internet shows crazy prices of $100 plus for hard cover copies, I'll take $40 FTF SOLD -

Bump for an added photo of the 28 with the numbered original diamond magna grips. -
Beautiful 541-T (23" heavy target barrel), shoots short, longs, and long rifle. Comes with Leupold rings and Weaver 4x16x44 scope with A.O. and three magazines. Most accurate .22 I own. I thought I might get into bench competition but that never happened, and at 7.5 lbs, too heavy to squirrel hunt with. Thought there might be a paper puncher or two out there that would appreciate this old Remington, when the quality was still up. $850 for the package SPF

Smith & Wesson Model 10-8 with heavy 4" barrel, with new old stock S&W factory Magna grips. Gun has been around the block over the years, but still a good shooter, lock up is tight. Grips are probably worth as much as the gun $450 Price drop: $400 firm SOLD

My brother and I bought a used 1968 Airstream 20' Land Yacht for $1000 back in the 90s. We used it for deer camp every year for the next dozen or so years, and sold it for $1600 after we moved up to a motorhome. It was classic though, and well insulated. Kept us warm during those Nov/Dec deer seasons. The roof never did leak, can't say the same for the motorhome I bought. It was easy to pull. I pulled it with my 6 cylinder F-150. In hindsight, never thought those old ones would become such collector's items.

Yes sir, you are so right; Rule #8 Do not make any replies designed to interfere with the sale or trade of an item. If you wish to haggle, do it privately with the seller. No one cares what you think about the price or availability of an item. Ah, new guys. Where's admin on this? -

C'mon, tell the truth. You bought that rifle because it says ROB HUNTER on the barrel. -
That's awesome!

Yep, same here. Got my Ky CCW the first year they were available. Too many to remember, but my LCR rode the longest, about 4 years, and now it's my Kahr MK9 winter carry, and shorts and T-shirt, my Kahr P380 with Underwood 100 gr. cast, they're impressive.

All depends where you sell it, or try to sell it I should say. There are TGO prices, which are usually fair, realistic prices ... and then there are the inflated stupid prices on the big sites like Gun Broker, Arms List, etc. For the most part, us TGO folks are looking for a bargain always, but also willing to pay a "reasonable" price for something we really want. I have a CZ 550 in 6.5x55, it's not for sale, but if it was, I would hope to move it on TGO for around $800 without a scope. Which btw you can buy a new CZ 600 LUX for that. No way would it be worth $1200 in my opinion. But crazy prices seem to be the norm right now, especially on sites that have bidding wars.

Sell two rifles, buy a Dillon. It is magic. Kidding aside ....... buy a Dillon. One more try ... I've got an RCBS single stage for big rifles, a Lee turret press dedicated to .44 mag and .357 and a Dillon 550. For things I need mass quantities, I crank out on the Dillon. Every stroke of the handle pops out a finished round vs the three different stages on a single press (pistol) , two stages for rifle if you can get by without an expander, which you can't if you're doing cast. The Lee turret only helps that I don't have to screw in and out dies, but that don't save that much time. I continue to load on the RCBS singe my deer rifles, cuz I don't shoot those much and I hand weigh each round on top of that. The Dillon would be the bomb for 5.56 and .300. BTW, that Forster co-ax you have is a great single stage press. Forster makes some top quality stuff. Buy the DIllon.

I still have that Pietta I bought from you and still haven't shot it, because I don't want to clean it.

You must be looking at the 250 specs. The new 300 is larger, it's actually 286cc. I did not get ABS. I've spent my lifetime riding and owning about a dozen bikes and only one had ABS, the BMW. It's personal opinion, but I don't think it's necessary on lighter weight bikes, and you definitely don't want it when you're riding off on some trails up and down hills. However, if I ever bought another Road King, I would definitely have ABS! I had a few panic lock up slides on my non ABS Road King, and it was always scary! LOL

No, definitely not too much power, not enough probably for expert riders who ride hard in dirt. Me, I'm an easy rider, LOL. Yes, if you look at the tail bag I have on the rear of the seat, if I take it off, you could ride two up. I've ridden the wife on back many times, there's fold out passenger pegs. Ammo can was easy to mount. Lined it up to the rear rack and drilled holes in the ammo can to match mounting holes on the rear rack. Bolted it down. It's so sturdy, you could stand on it and water proof too.

Had a couple Harleys then went to dual sports. I really like that type of riding. Started out on a TW200. That thing was a billy goat. It would go anywhere! I went up to a 650 BMW, but too heavy for my confidence off road, so I sold it and bought a new CRF Rally 250. Great weight, and will cruise the highway fast enough for me. Yep, we need a TGO ride.

Bump for another look. -
I'm with Sidinman, have a safe full of deer rifles and have bloodied them all. As I grow long in the tooth, I am slowly selling off my deer rifles (thank you TGO). Have killed a lot of deer also with my bows, muzzleloaders and handguns. But if I have a favorite deer rifle, it would have to be my Ruger M77 International .243 I bought in my twenties. It was my first deer rifle and the only one I had, because back then, raising a family and carving out a life was a bit tougher for me. 45 years later, and sitting comfortable, I have quite a few, almost to the point I think it's silly. But as I slowly let them go, if and when I get back to one rifle (don't hold your breath) it would be this one. Lots of memories, lots of venison, and a few big racks to boot. It has served me well.
