They could always not waste money on buildings like the useless "Student Enrichment Center" currently under construction. While they didn't mention the Engineering program slipping during my enrollment (they must have conveniently failed to mention that), I did hear that their chemistry program is under review b/c of their extremely low pass rate. UTK is trying too hard to be an ivy league school when they need to remember their roots. The raising of tuition and the a**hole getting a raise doesn't really surprise me, Universities fully expect students to get school loans these days and don't really care much about the debt they put their students in. What really gets me is what bkelm18 mentioned, that they are charging you for 15 cr-hrs if you are only taking 12-14. It's like going to a restaurant and being charged for an appetizer and a desert when all I got was a terrible hamburger. I wonder how the VA and other college paying institutions are going to accept this. If the VA refuses to pay a $15 "international fee" that the college charges everyone, I would assume they might not like this too much. Oh, and this is blasphemy around here I know, but does the sports program need all the money that they use? Just saying, it should be college first...

The new social groups have done that since they were implemented, at least for me and you too. I've looked through the Tapatalk settings and couldn't find a way to hide subforums that are locked. I just use the "by Category" view instead of the "by Name" and it puts the Social Groups Forums at the bottom so they can easily be ignored. Edit: I asked about this a while ago, and David stated it had something to do with IPB vs Tapatalk. (from this thread)

It's a bit of a misleading article. 49.1% live in a household where at least one person is receiving benefits, and some of these benefits you can be working and still receive. Granted I'm not naive enough to think no one abuses the system but it's not always as simple as get a better job, or get a 2nd or 3rd job. Random thought since you are talking about creating a lanyard. What about an retractable reel style lanyard integrated in with the holster, or just attached to a belt? Something like this people use for ID badges. It would eliminate the "getting caught" issue in day to day activities. As long as the retracting mechanism isn't strong enough to influence your shot, or retract the weapon all futuristic style. Simply something that has a cord / wire with enough tensile strength to hold the weapon when full extended. Could even have a quick disconnect near the firearm in case some sort of rare binding mishap. Again, I don't have a dog in this hunt; it was just a random thought that popped in my head when I read your post.

I did two months of P90x a while back, it does work but like everyone says it's about what you eat. And I ate a lot of eggs, chicken, and salad. It became a pain after a while so I quit, but I did lose weight during it. The predecessor to P90x, Power 90 is a "easier" program I think and might be up your ally if P90x is too much. If you go to their forums on beachbody.com, you'll see some hybrid programs out there that are less intense to begin with.

I get decent reception w/ T-Mobile in Knoxville and Oak Ridge but I can't speak for everywhere. Since you are considering Android, one option would be Google Voice. I have a cheap T-Mobile plan with unlimited data (Truely unlimited since I'm grandfathered in), unlimited text, and only 500 minutes. I also have a free google voice account, which uses your data connection or wifi. So if I somehow talk on the phone more than 500 minutes (not including nights and weekends) I switch over and use google voice. Having a Washington State area code #, I also choose my GV # to be from my home town so my family can call w/o worry of long distance charges. Google voice also can be used to text, so if I wanted to lose my grandfathered plan and get rid of my text I could have a cheaper plan. I've rooted my phone and tether way to much to loose my data plan though. I think T-Mobile has a decent $30 monthy no contract plan if I remember correctly, and Knoxville actually has T-Mobile's version of 4g (HSPA+). As far as traveling goes, T-Mobile will work on AT&T's network and 2g data. Edit: I don't know about international calling, I think GV has most European countries at 10c per minute.

Woot! Welcome to the AR club. Now go eliminate some balloons and paper plates. While I have a colt, both of my shooting amigos have the M&P 15 Sport and out of 1000 or so rounds, only once have we incountered an issue, it was when a steel casing became stuck in the barrel. Congrats on finding one!
