  1. Yeah looks like a 6" barrel. Sent from my Desire HD using Tapatalk

  3. OP, I'm sorry but you don't have any of my sympathy. Did you say "Excuse me" or anything to any of the sales representatives to get their attention or did you verbally ask any of them to see any gun? Maybe I've misunderstood you entirely - I don't know. I haven't even been to any of the gun shops you have mentioned. But, you could have simply said that they "weren't as helpful or friendly as some other shops" you've been to or something to that effect. I can understand the fiasco with Precision Firearms, but this is pocket change in comparison. As big and as respected TGO is, we need to also realize that we are not the only gun consumers in Tennessee. If we just start lambasting every gun shop for every little perceived infraction, TGO is the one that is going to get a bad reputation - not the gun shops. I really don't want to see that happen. That's just my 2 cents.
  4. My former department carried S&W 5906's. Love that gun.
  5. lmfao! Further proof that "Hey, watch this!" never ends well
  6. Well I'm waiting for a magnifier for my AR-15 in the mail so it might be a week or two if any TGO'ers wanna meet on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. That's when I'll be available at least, lol. I think it would be fun though. Maybe we can do some kind of BBQ?... Why dont we just make it a meet and greet! HA!
  7. I may have to check this out sometime. The rifle range is 100yards longer than the Stones River range apparently.
  8. Uhhhh..?
  9. I don't think Aimpoints and EoTechs are the same height.
  10. I'm gonna switch out for birdshot then, lol. Sent from my Desire HD using Tapatalk
  11. What is the BIG deal? Are there no standard listed heights for iron sights, red dots, and magnifiers? I realize that Aimpoint and Eotech both make proprietary magnifiers for the respective sight systems, however, I am not willing to shell out another $500. Even then, compatibility and co-witnessing with iron sights are not guaranteed nor heights advertised. If I were to start a business, I would sell an economical flip mounted magnifier with multiple risers to cowitness multiple height requirements of different sighting systems. It appears to me that at this time, no such thing fills this likely highly desired niche. Anyway, rant over... Does anyone know of any good cost efficient flip-mounts, flipmount/magnifer combos, risers that would line up correctly with a Aimpoint Pro with riser removed? (Without the riser, its really low hugging the rails)
  12. Anyone know if you can use more than one of these? I'd like a half price Acog!
  13. If you go onto Youtube, as annoying as Nut N Fancy is, he does do a good LONG... review on the PF9. He does a few other reviews too on other subcompact pistols. I like the Kahr PM9 review that he did. I know Kahr makes good guns but they tend to be pricey. Warning: He talks way too much. He's one of those guys who could talk about the color yellow and the philosophy of the color for 3 hours without stopping to take a break.
  14. +1 guitar player, lol
  15. Perhaps the forums aren't pulling in enough money. We need more benefactors! lol
  16. A tax on christmas presents? lol Better yet, tax stamps on presents like they do with ammo boxes here in TN, lol. TEN CENTS! Bwahahaha!
  17. Not to mention typical Pm messages are only text being less than 5KB probably. How expensive can more/unlimited storage be?
  18. Would it be possible to increase the size of the forums inbox folder anytime soon? And is there any way that a warning notification could be made for a nearly full inbox? With instructions on how archive/delete to make room? (No offense but for the dinasaurs on the forum.) Its irritating when I cant send a PM half the time because inboxes are full. Kind of important too for the trading post when no other means of contact have been established and time sensitive urgent information is present. I know I would greatly appreciate either of those two options above with notifications being probably the cheapest to implement. Sent from my Desire HD using Tapatalk
  19. The gun show I went to in Murfreesboro also looked bigger than the one I went to in Nashville prior. I honestly never been impressed with any of the prices. All about the same price as online but you don't have to wait for shipping which I guess is nice, lol.
  20. Yeah that's what I'm doing now. I have a tube of eight rounds of 00 buck with four slugs/two 00 buck in my side saddle. I have thought a few times about putting a slug first in line in the magazine tube just so my first shot is "accurate" if I need it to be, lol. I'm still undecided.
  21. Update: I ordered a Hogue over-rubber-ed shortened L.O.P. stock (12") and found that it was too short for me. A quick stop at Walmart fixed that though. I got a Med. Limbsaver which stated that it adds 1" to the LOP and now it shoulders perfectly. I was also prompted to get the limbsaver because I was shooting 3" magnum 00 rounds earlier in the day. I wanted to try out an older spare stock I had that was made of wood and had a metal buttplate. Lets just say the first round was definitely a surprise. I then fired the second shot from the hip and nearly lost the damn gun. Most painful 15 rounds ever.
  22. cant.. stop... reading... lol
  23. sounds good to me aswell
