  1. I have organized a Meet & Greet. I talked with Top Gun on Whitten Rd and told them this was a 1st meeting, to check if any interest in the West TN area. Top Gun suggested using their BBQ restaurant, then there is no room charge. If anyone wants to shoot that would be the individuals choice, i.e. not part of the meet & greet. The range closes at 8p, the restaurant begins to shut down about 7p. Thursday, June 6th, 5:30 to 7pm. Come and go as the you please. Eat if you wish. I encourage you to purchase something from restaurant. If you want to stay later that's OK also. Request you RSVP on this thread, therefore I will have a general idea how many are coming. Location: Top Gun, 2770 Whitten Rd, Memphis TN 38133 Time: 5:30 to 7pm, Thursday, June 6, 2024 Cost: $none, I encourage you to purchase something at the restaurant.
  2. PM sent about a Meet & Greet
  3. Memphis TV channel 13 reported some info on the Kawasaki shop incident. I know the man who carried in to the store. Went to Bartlett PD until bail paid. At court received probation and fine. Could not carry until probation ended. Had to reapply for permit. Didn't get weapon returned until after court hearing after probation ended and PD did a TICS check. Lawyer fees $5k, probation a little over 2 years.
  4. Early this week saw 20 gauge buckshot and slugs at The Gun Store, Memphis. Winchester at Riverdale. Don't remember prices.

  8. Same here, with "they used a generator". It was mounted to the trunk and was actually an inverter.
  9. I also live in Fayette county. Wilson Well installed by new well pump a year ago. It is all electronic and 240 volt. My 5000kw, 120/240v generator will not run the well pump. Electricity was too "dirty" as my electrician said. Many newer fridge and freezer have all electronic controllers.
  10. Welcome to the group.   Piperton, TN

  14. Some discussion here: http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/69530-concealed-carry-in-private-posted-businesses/?hl=tn_jim#entry1022452
  15. Very well built, adjusts to different size handguns. I use the thumb brake, the brake took a a little trial and error. Works good now. I first had setup for double stack, now resized for single stack. Worth the price. I was able to use the hooks without using using screws. I did enlarge/spread a gap in the plastic panel.
  16. I have a Gum Creek, but mounted it to the console of my car. The holster is by the driver's right knee, easier to reach than under steering wheel.
  17. In the Memphis area consider: Orion Federal Credit Union or for more of West TN area First State Bank. 1st State' a home office is Union City, TN. They have branches in many areas of West TN including Collierville.
