1. I am not a big fan of using my shotgun as a primary or even secondary weapon for inside the house home defense.  I have better guns (to me) for that role.   That said, if I am going to the shotgun it's because the "s#!t just got real" and the slight awkwardness of a sidesaddle is far outweighed by the need for more ammo that is easily accessible.   I don't notice the side saddle at all though and can't think of any real downsides to one.  Before I put mine on, I was concerned that the shells might come loose during firing but they are pretty securely held in place.
2. Assuming that they are both the same in storage capacity.  The Note has better specs on Amazon otherwise I can't tell the difference.     So, my my choice is...iPad;-)  That's what I would normally want but between these choices it looks like I would go with the Note.   Hopefully the Android folks can give you some more insight.   Edit:  The Tab looks to come with Android 4.1 while the Note only has 4.0.  I would find out if the Note is able to upgrade to 4.1.  I know that some devices can't upgrade to the newest OS.
3. We may never know the answer to your question. All we can do is examine all the evidence go from there.
4. Even breaking that commandment is not unforgivable in the way that some would have us believe that suicide is. And I am of the opinion that the commandment it is addressing murder but that's a whole other debate.
5. My brother was a cop in the Phoenix area but I imagine the training is similar. There was a lot of learning how to write properly for reports and the like. Be in good shape, the minimums are the low end so work to surpass the minimum physical requirements and that will help. There was a lot of homework to so be sure that your home situation is conducive to that, my bother had 4 kids at the time but his wife was very supportive. I imagine that getting shot is a lot more likely in Chicago than Smyrna. I don't live there though so I could be wrong:-) My brother did say that the most difficult thing about being a cop was all the bad things that he saw and couldn't do anything about, especially involving kids.
6. I did that once when a guy borrowed my camera at a house party. Turns out he wanted to show a girl how impressive his "piece" was. Not what I expected when I was going over the party footage...
7. I can see that, there are things that we should hold in a death grip but others that should be discussed with a mind open to learning new things. I am open to having a discussion on almost anything but that doesn't necessarily mean that I am going change my mind just because I let the other side speak their mind. It amuses me when people accuse my demographic of "clinging" to certain things like guns, the Constitution/Bill of Rights, Christianity, etc. The fact that I still hold strongly to the principles that our country was founded on is a badge of honor to me also. To me the technology aspect of it all is irrelevant, it's all about how it's used and the people that we allow to control it. The tech will always be there and the fact that the government has the capability to spy on us should be assumed and is nothing new. But if it is used to violate our rights and freedoms then the people should make such a noise that the government can't ignore. Though, I still haven't seen or heard of a specific instance where PRISM was actually used to violate someone's rights only that the capability exists which is not news, at least to me.
8. Good points, It just that in 16 yrs in the military I have learned that what we see in the news and what is really happening are usually different things and the media will tell a story in the most sensational and emotional way possible whether its totally true or not. I just like to have as much info from all sides before deciding for myself what I think really happened. Another thing that my time has taught me is that the government is made up of people and as a group people are not to be trusted. Stay vigilant my tinfoil friends. Seriously, the people are what keeps the government honest or allows them to be evil.
9. Yup, if a person wants to have the option of ending their life they shouldn't put it on the doc to provide the tools to do it and deal with the moral dilemma. Before you know it there will be a federal requirement that docs issue the suicide drugs to patients who are in pain and request it. Probably find in Obamacare somewhere once somebody reads the whole thing. In reference to religious factors. I'm a Christian but nowhere in the Bible does it indicate that suicide is an unforgivable sin, just another Catholic lie. It's a personal choice and it should be left to the person to choose. God will still love them.
10. That's the open mind thing that I was talking about.  My opinion is that some people won't even give this an honest look.     I don't discount everyone's opinions, just the closed-minded ones.
11. I found this interesting and couldn't find it anywhere on here so here you go.   http://www.dni.gov/files/documents/Facts%20on%20the%20Collection%20of%20Intelligence%20Pursuant%20to%20Section%20702.pdf   I'm sure that the tinfoil folks will dismiss it because everyone in the government is evil but hopefully people will read this with an open mind.   Enjoy
12. Still funny but I guess that's the point, funny videos get views.   Hard to believe that the whole thing was fake though, he sounded clueless throughout the video.   I didn't know about that "feature" though.  Is that only with that gun or will a Mossberg 500 fire like that too?  Pretty cool rapid fire technique.
13. Everyday I think about where my guns are and their condition. My 1 year old daughter is starting to climb things so I had to move one gun to a better spot. Even though she doesn't have the strength to rack a slide or pull a double action revolver trigger, it's my job to make sure she can never be in contact with any of my guns. The guy in the story was responsible for the locations of all his guns but I don't think jail time can compare to what he has to now live with. Maybe he should be put on the list to not be able to own guns, I don't know...
14. I like Ridgeback Racks if I was going to wall mount. The design could be done in wood, plexiglass or whatever. I like that there is a lock for basic security.
15. You have to be a Benefactor to sell on here, that's what he was likely getting at.
16. Ah hah, well in that case where was the SWAT team? I bet they had this conversation just before the "raid".
17. I may have missed it but what would the crime be for buying a 6 pack of beer from a store? Must be pretty serious for 6 cops to lose their minds over. The real tragedy here is that her ice cream is probably all melted now;-)
18. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/65338-found-what-i-needed-ruined-my-223-sizing-die-will-by-just-the-sizing-die-or-whole-set/?hl=%2Bcase+%2Bstuck For some more info
19. You will probably need to cancel the subscrption in paypal too. I had to do that for other subscriptions that i had set up.
20. Looks like a good idea, I might do that too. Although, I would be concerned with the power being cut. An easy thing to do. I would probably get an UPS power backup for the safe and Internet equipment.
21. Romad7

44mm Glock

The Glock grenade launcher! I'd buy one;-)
22. Mmm, wet nasty and hot...wait where am I;-) Just imagine the morale boost if the standards were at a single lower standard. Everyone could get 300s to go with their black berets, win-win! Women should have to meet the male standards to even be considered for ground combat fields.
23. That's the route I went too, I just needs to clean it up so it looks as good as yours. Good work!
24. Reminds me of this picture I saw outside the office of a former A-10 pilot who was a female. I would love to see all female teams killing hajjis, could you imagine the morale impact that would have.
