1. Depending on your budget, the Kershaw Chill is right at 2 oz, and the Benchmade 530 is even lighter than that. Both have a blade length of just over 3".
2.   According to the police:   For what that's worth.
3. My current EDC is a Zero Tolerance ZT350. If you consider a Zero Tolerance knife for EDC, do yourself a favor and check out the blemished models offered at Kershaw Guy. Big savings.
4. Based on the local news and a coworker who's wife works at Vandy, this year is particularly bad. Hope I don't regret not getting the flu shot. Get well soon, David.
5. This is a photo that was attached to a local news story about a weapons and drug bust. According to the police, one of them is fully automatic. Can anyone identify the 2nd and 5th from the top?
6. I would prefer a plain, but there's been a time or two when I was extremely grateful for having the serrations during an unexpected situation. If I'm buying an EDC, it is serrated.
7. The elite guys with specialized skills and/or training can make good money working with high-profile clientele. Mall Ninja, Armored car driver, etc., not so much.
8. I've thought about that, but I've never done it before. I was hoping to get enough pointers from this project to feel comfortable doing other projects myself. I can get all the materials at a steep discount, so that will save me some money.
9. I am needing an EXPERIENCED tile setter / installer to give me a quote on having two backsplashes tiled in the kitchen. Depending on the price, I would like to have both bathroom floors done, too. I will supply all materials. You MUST have experience and proper tools. I live in Springfield.
10.
FTFY
You know how he loves it when you do that.
11. I was a smoker for several years before I switched to dipping about 10 years ago. I decided to stop by VolVapor (http://www.volvapor.com) today. It's owned by a fellow TGOer. I didn't know much at all about electronic cigarettes, and he was more than willing to take the time to explain things to me. He hooked me up with a beginners package.
12.
Ok so here is the scoop on why I ask. I asked on another thread about the maker of a buffer tube and when I went to MAS Defense's website I got to looking around. They seem to have decent prices on pistol barrels so I was considering them. Their options are: Hardened Steel, HBAR Chrome Moly, Chrome Moly, Melonite Nitride, Chrome Lined, Stainless Steel and HBAR Stainless. I'm just not sure what the performance differences in these are as I usually just stick with factory.
I am also considering one of their barrels for my pistol build.
13. I couldn't pass up that deal. Thank you.
14.
Holy crap, I figured since you can't get the hunting license without the HSC that you wouldn't have to have it on your person. YEARS have gone by like this. I guess I'll be contacting MO. I know where my orange patch is they gave me but the card is long gone!
The patch isn't necessary, is it? I hope not, because that this has been missing for 25 years.
15. I'm pretty sure it worked for Cheech and Chong a time or two.
16. The State of Illinois has an online database where you can simply print a copy from their website. No fees involved. I printed 5 or 6 copies, then saved a copy to the computer.
17. Does a cardboard toilet paper tube and aluminum foil count?
18. I would like to get into a show like this, but anything labeled as a "reality show" often indicates there's very little "reality" involved. I'll give it a shot, though.
19.
Yep, I swiped it from his build thread after hearing that they(MAS defense) had better than average customer service. My pistol has progressed a little bit since that last shot as It now has a barrel, LPK, and free float rail- (sights finally came in as well but they went on after this pic)
How was your experience with MAS?
20.
Who makes this tube?
21.
Who makes this tube?
MAS Defense. It's the one I got for my build.
22.
Yes. If you lose it and/or need a replacement, you must go to the originating state for that replacement. Dave
Thank you, Dave. Took the course as a child in Illinois. Just printed a replacement card from their website. I've never been hunting, but I'd like to start. Just need a rifle, a place to hunt, and someone to teach me.
23. Does the State of Tennessee recognize a hunter safety course card from another state?
24. If the store owner deserves to be charged with a crime, should a law be passed to make the carrying of an AR in public illegal? If there were such a law, I suspect the store owner would not have been openly carrying his AR, hindering the cause for gun us gun owners.
