Congrats! That's probably my favorite from Tops.

Mine had an adjustable stock on it and I like the Hogue a lot better. My right thumb and nose were just a little too close to each other without the Limbsaver. I kinda forgot to tell my brother in law not to wrap his thumb over the stock when I first put the Hogue on. I still laugh about that.

I use the Hogue 12" LOP and added a Limbsaver pad. I think it measures right at 13".   You can save some $$ and get the Limbsaver at WalMart too.     Edit: Can't spell this morning

I believe I'm gonna have to agree with you.

I like those, just not sure if I want kydex or not. I'm kinda leaning towards one from Talon.

This one came with both the 6 & 7 round mags. I did order another 7 rounder for it today.

I asked this in another thread but I'll put it here too. Anybody have a favorite pocket holster?

Thanks guys. I've got a bit of weakness for FDE myself. They had a 4 & 5 inch 1911 Scorpion. I woulda loved to have brought both of them home too.

Figured I'd bump this. I picked up a P238 Scorpion today. Love the feel of it. Gonna try and run a few rounds through it tomorrow. Anybody have a favorite pocket holster? Need to get one for it.

I figured if I didn't buy myself something nice for Christmas nobody else would. I had intended to get an Eotech but that didn't happen. I picked this thing up and loved it. Got myself a Sig P238 Scorpion. Excuse the oil, I haven't cleaned it yet.

I got a card today saying someone gave me a 'Small Batch Bourbon of the Month' gift for Christmas. I wonder what kind of swill I'll end up getting?? I'm actually looking forward to it.   And to stay on topic, Devils Cut has grown on me a little. I'm still a Vodka whore at heart though.

I've used the BK2 quite a bit and the finish that was on it when I got it was starting to get worn in a few spots. I had sanded it down some but wasn't happy with the way it looked. Decided last night to sand it again and give it an apple cider vinegar and mustard patina. Might not be everybody's thing but I like the way it turned out.

We tried Pappy last night. I honestly can't tell you what I expected, but I was a little disappointed. It's a good bourbon but I've had $40-$50 bottles I liked just as well. My brother in laws 'liquor guy' gave it to him so we weren't overly sad about it.   I need a good bottle for Christmas Eve, any of you tried JD Sinatra?

I don't have one myself. I've got a friend in KY who's got one (don't know the model) and he swears it runs like a champ.

I went to SMKW today. I picked up a set of scales for my stripped Izula and decided to get my buddy's daughter an Izula in Venom Green for Christmas. Figured I'd wrap it with some lemon/lime camo paracord. (God knows that stuff won't match anything else.) She'll love it and her mom will hate me for it. It's a win-win. I have to admit, I bought me one too.
