  1. You are correct on both points sir.
  2. I've pocket carried the j frame all week. It's light enough that you just forget it's there. I looked at a bunch of different holsters but ended up getting a cheapo blackhawk pocket holster for it because it's barely big enough for the gun. No extra bulk at all. I've got a set of Altamont boot grips on the way and will probably try a  pocket holster from Mika just for the hell of it.
  3. I'm a TFO guy too. I've got 'em on 4 Glock. Best of both worlds... fiber optic for day and tritium for night. I use yellow rear/green front. The green front really stands out.
  4. I told the guys at the shop I was ordering all my parts online from now on.
  5. Stopped in my LGS to pickup a grip plug for one of my Glocks and somehow walked out with an S&W 637 Airweight. I'm not much of a revolver guy but I figured it'll be a good pocket gun for the summer. And hell, everybody needs a J frame.
  6. To get the frame done was $65.
  7. Thanks. I went through M&M Firearms in Whitesburg to get it done but Brothers Hydrographics did the work. Turnaround on it was about 3 weeks.
  8. Dropped my 34 off a couple weeks ago to get hydrodipped and got it back today. Really like how it turned out.
  9. I've got 2 from Alien Gear. Hybrid holsters aren't my favorite but I like the the AG's better than the Crossbreed holsters I've owned.
  10. $35 is the cheapest I could find factory mags for when I bought a couple extras.
  11. I ordered 500 rounds of 9mm when they had free shipping a few weeks ago. Ordered another 500 Wednesday night.
  12. You can get kinda-sorta close with what you have by adding a pedal/effect unit/modeler but a digital signal sounds, well........digital. It just depends on how close you want your tone to be. There's a lot of lower cost options available these days.   I've got a couple smaller amps I run clean and use pedals. Even with the 'booteek' analog pedals I have they still don't sound quite as good as a guitar plugged straight in to a Marshall.
  13. I didn't even own a Glock about a month ago. Now I've got 4 of the damn things.
  14. I'm just a wannabe compared to graycrait.
  15. About a month ago I didn't own a Glock. Didn't like 'em, didn't want one. That all changed when a guy let me shoot his Gen 4 G19 one day. I liked it, I REALLY liked it. Don't really know how it happened but after today I now own 3 of these butt ugly abominations. I picked up a Gen 4 G34 to keep my 19 and 26 safe. Hopefully I've got whatever it is out of my system and can go back to lusting over 1911's. Now excuse me while I go find a set of competition sights and a magwell for the 34.
  16. I love my 500 for HD but these Saigas are starting to call my name.
  17. A quick update. It's been one month since Roscoe (his name is Roscoe now) was found and taken in. Hard to believe just how far he has come. He's still in WV with my sister due to having to go to the vet weekly for the leg break. The vet there has been great. I'm going up in a couple days to hopefully finally bring him to TN.....if my sister lets me. March 7th April 8th....I LOVE this picture.
  18. I like everything about that one. Great work!!

Nice!! That's probably going to be my next purchase.
  20. I'm not a Mall Ninja. My membership status is pending til my tac-vest and thigh rig get delivered. I still need to pick up my serrated tactical operator survival knife too.
  21. Got another toy yesterday, Ruger American Rimfire 22lr compact. Added a magwell, guide rod and spring to the 1911 22 today. Also put on a compensator to deal with the violent recoil this thing has....and because it looks cool.
  22. After monkeying with it some more it's hitting because of where the scope needs to be mounted due to eye relief. The bases should give me the extra height I need.
  23. Believe it or not but I did figure out the rear sight would fold.
