I picked up a CMMG conversion kit from another TGO'er recently and have only put about 75 rounds through it but so far so good. How does the conversation kit work? Is it something you buy and talk about what it should do?

Jubil, shop around. The Dick's ad in last Sunday's paper has 4 .22 rifles on sale for $200 or less. Two of those have scopes.

My 1978 10/22 came tapped for a scope mount! I'm pretty sure it's standard on all models. Buy a new one at Dick's or Wal-Mart...at least you'll get a MAGAZINE with it for your $200.

Not committing here just wanted to comment. I enjoyed a quart of Shrimp Dock's Gumbo last night from the store on Kingston Pike. Mightly fine eatin'!
