  1. Newport to Anniston is about 280 miles. That's according to google maps so there are probably some shortcuts. But before you drive down there are some requirements to buy from CMP. Nothing major but here they are: http://www.thecmp.org/eligibility.htm
  2. Don't you mean 19.97 and 29.97? Are you saying she gave you a discount?
  3. Before you get any more rude remarks, we're all over this one: http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17281 And the proposed bill now going through the state to seal these records only carries a misdemeanor offense. This thing was up long before the Cordova incident but no one knew about it until now.
  4. Indeed it is. I've always been a big Marlin fan.
  5. Look here. http://www.marlinfirearms.com/Firearms/308MarlinExpress/default.asp It's a 308 but not the 308.
  6. Maybe the NRA's statement will calm. I assume they keep on top of this stuff. http://www.nraila.org/legislation/read.aspx?id=4430 But then again it is Friday the 13th.
  7. Well, it's only $80. The CA needs to fess-up on who they (or the State) removed from that database. Even last July 8th, which is now what they are finally admitting to is the date of their data there where more than 185,277 permit holders. I'm doubly pissed now 'cause that was one week after mine was issued! How much you wanna bet they have already requested a new list?
  8. Those retards all look Cali to me.
  9. More Crackpots. I would never swear to that pledge. They may have some worthy ideas and the half-assed declaration of independence is noble. You can count me out of ever uttering the words proposed. "I pledge allience to the United States of Wal-Mart and every other business that got us into this situation". Don't think so.
  10. Have no idea but here is link to the CMP forum. More than you would ever want to know about Garands and carbines. http://www.odcmp.org/new_forum/default.asp
  11. Can't ever get enough of Judy-Choppin'. You know there are other scenes from his trailer park dojo.
  12. CCR does do excellent work. Now who finished that fine-lookin' Sig?

If it was a Mosin, that's the way it's supposed to be shot.
  17. Has anyone determined when this outrage was placed online? Has it been there for awhile and we're just finding out about it or what? My permit was issued in July of 2008 and I'm there. A ton of people are saying they are not. Werer you privs issued after that date?
  18. How in the hedoubletoothpicks do you get a Glock into your pocket!
  19. People who won't type! Let's call'em "Upper Deckers".
  20. The #1 rule of History is "those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it". If anyone in control has any knowledge of the past I'd be astounded! Elected officials should have History degrees. We're not doing anything that hasn't been done before. We unfortunatly, are in one of the bad cycles.
  21. When did you get your permit? It's a static database. All I can tell you that it's got everything up until July '08, cause I be there. And if you don't search right you may not find it. Can someone please tell me when this thing was put online! It's driving me nuts!
  22. David Crockett? Like, King of the Wild Frontier?
  23. Friend, we're all over that! http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17281 Do you why they did it and WHEN? Haven't been able to figure that out!
  24. While that is very tempting I strongly recommend that no one does that. Keep it on a professional basis and bombard their workplace with letters. Not their homes! The last thing you want is a "Journalist", who has the "power of the press" behind him or her feeling threatened by a bunch of crazy, gun-totin', sanctioned by the Constitution and laws of Tennessee, good upstanding, law abiding citizens invading HIS (or HER) privacy. They would react, as all people do when threatened, and they can make life a hell.
