  1. I believe it's sorted out now, but Tapco DID have a recall on their FCGs a while back.
  2. I used this method on a stuck and stripped screw head a while back (well, a similar method). I used an aerosol can of compressed air (like the stuff people use for cleaning computer parts/dusting). I froze the screw, then grabbed it with some channel locks, and it broke free
  3. I'd be interested to here when/how it fails. What kind of ammo are you primarily running through it?
  4. There's a number of packs made by Maxpedition, but they're pricey. UAG makes a cheap bag that looks OK, but it won't hold your laptop. You can pick up a Jack Bauer style bag for like $20, and it'll hold both. Jack Bauer 24 Heavyweight Messenger Bag
  5. As much as I love the 700, I've gotta vote M1A.
  6. You know, maybe that would bring bkelm back
  7. Order some "rooster fries"
  8. My dad always said "If you can't succeed as an architect, engineer, or contractor, there's always the codes dept"
  9. I think I remember reading that it was Mil/LE only... Seems like there would be a little bit of a liability involved selling it to the general public.
  10. without abusing anti-bacterial soaps and gels...
  11. Dammit... I need a job.
  12. Wait... So can the gov't see what I do in the shower?!?!?!?!?! I was just washing it thoroughly, I SWEAR!

Dude... I had a deal like that happen Friday morning. I've got my 92 Range Rover (not running, needs a fuel pump) for sale at the end of my drive. I woke up to let the dogs out, and I see a guy checking it out. I went and chatted him up, and told him I'd take a $1k for it. He counters asking if I'd be willing to do a trade, and mentions firearms. He has my attention, and names a few things. I tell him I'll take his Mossy Persuader Breacher, and his Saiga 12 (both supposedly new in box). He accepts, and tell me he's got to run back into town to pick up the guns and get in touch w/ a tow company. I get the thing ready to go, and he never calls. By 5PM, I call him to see if he's coming or not. He tells me something came up, he'll need to come look at it again, so on and so forth... I guess the deal isn't totally broken yet, but I was psyched about my new shottys.
  14. I love my USP9c. From where I sit, the only downside is the price. I haven't handled one, but it seems to have a lot of the same features offered by the USP, and at a lower price.
  15. Yeah, some of the hot foods challenges are too insane for me. The world's hottest curry, and some of those wing challenges, I *might* be able to do, but I'd be wanting to kill myself during the inevitably numerous bowel movements during the following week
  16. Wanna take on that carnivore pizza with me? I'm no lardy, but I can eat.
  17. Damn, what a beaut. Loving those Mil-Tec grips
  18. Hats off to the marketing dept!
  19. Couple of generations behind as well, are we?
  20. I've got my fingers crossed! Only 7 more days to find out! I think their new ally could be promising. I forget the guys name, but he was the coke dealer in "Rules of Attraction", His portrayal of being mentally unstable is utterly believable
  21. Cool, looks great and I don't think I've seen one before
  22. It's a screen cap from Boondock Saints. It's from the scene where they go to the arms dealer and he flick on the light to his arsenal, the shot displays a DShK in the foreground, and a mural on the wall in the background w/ the Irish flag and the words "While the wicked stand confounded, call me with thy saints surrounded". Here's a better pic of it:

I used to run this guy: It was pretty heavy, but damn near silent and always ran pretty cool.
