  1. So, what's your overall assessment of the quality of the training? How about the professionalism of the instructors?
  2. Probably about $500.. I'll give you $600 because I'm rich and nice... Ha, but seriously, I would guess several thousand dollars! Your friend is lucky for sure!
  3. This is the best I could do attempting to draw my gun left handed:
  4. Nice. Much like me, you need some optics on her now!
  5. Someone once showed me how to start a fire using a piece of steel wool and a 9-volt battery several years ago. Pretty cool trick: [ame]http://www.metacafe.com/watch/351326/instant_fire_from_steel_wool_and_a_battery/[/ame]
  6. Those ARE nice. Too bad I'm in the "CMP Service Grade Tax Bracket"...
  7. EVIL Black Rifle!
  8. That's one helluva nice rifle for a first! Enjoy it, I'm jealous! ...and never ever post about a new weapon unless you've got pics
  9. Good to know! I've been considering going 6.8 for my SPR-ish build, and might jump on a lower if I see the right one at the right price, just wanted to make sure I didn't HAVE to have one that said Multi.

    I'm amply offended myself...

Can whoever succeeds in offending you have a free bumper sticker?

There you go, folks! XD's are not responsible for sending anyone to trauma surgeons... some self-defense, eh? Does it shoot confetti too?

    338 win mag?

You didn't find that in your wife's night stand, did you?

Pfffft... your face isn't precision engineered and can't do all those things... Blow hard.
  15. Quick question to the well informed: Is there a legal issue w/ attaching an upper OTHER than a 5.56/.223 upper if your lower isn't marked Multi? Just wondering, as otherwise the "Multi" marking seems unnecessary.

    Uselton Arms!

His Franklin shop is new, I'm talking about his shop in the Madison area. Er, if I'm mistaken, and that wasn't his shop, I don't apologize, he's still a tool

    Beretta 92 question

If you were going to go that route, I'd go Stoeger and save a few Benjamins.

An XD? Why the ugly gun? To match your ugly face?
  19. I'm not trying to score a date or anything but, who are these ladies?

    Uselton Arms!

Agreed. I went to his shop when I was 18 to look for an Rem870 HD, he and his staff were all very condescending, perhaps due to my age. Needless to say, I found somewhere else for my money to go that day!

    Uselton Arms!

Yeah looks like mw. posted a link to a story about it, but I'll paste the story here:
  22. Yeah, you're supposed to pay it, BUT the dealer (the one that receives the transfer) can't legally collect it. You're expected to individually fill out the paper work and cut a check to the state.
  23. It would be illegal for them to attempt to collect state sales tax on a transfer. Of course, you'll be independently reporting your purchase to the state and cutting them a check to cover the tax.
  24. You may have read it on a gun board, but I've heard otherwise from gun broads.
