  1. Those who don't like the movie will be given mandatory auditing and a copy of dianetics . Haha, but in all seriousness, I'm planning on catching it sometime in the next few weeks.
  2. Yeah, mine came from area51tactical.com It was my first time ordering from them. I was impressed with their speediness and customer service. Good prices too.

These are pretty good deals for a 9mm: http://www.stoegerindustries.com/firearms/stoeger_cougar.php They can usually be had for around $400. Check out the write up on them: http://www.handgunsmag.com/featured_handguns/cougarb_071807/
  4. I've been pretty meticulous w/ cleaning my handguns in the past, but I treat my Glock like a redheaded stepchild. Meh, it gets cleaned at least every 500 rnds.

    HR 7110 and you

Same place all the financial institution's bailout cash came from... straight off the printing presses. Turns out we can print as much of it as we want. Surely it won't effect our currency's value. Just ask Post-WWI Germany.

Hot damn, I'd jump on that. Hell, if you don't I'd love to buy it back at 350.

Haha, if you decide you want a SigPro 2022 9mm, you can always try out the one I sold your brother.
  8. I was doing a little surfing around the web checking out .22 plinkers, and I found this : http://www.topgunsupply.com/sig-sauer-p229r-.22lr-nitron-adjustable-sights-da-sa-converts-to-9mm.html , detailing Sig's "2-step" Program. I've been wanting a 229 for a while now anyway... still, $400 for the 9mm upper seems a little steep, effectively putting the whole package at about $900.
  9. I was at Wally World about an hour ago, and I bought up all the 9mm and .45 they had. They said they won't be getting anymore ever again, and neither will any of the other stores. On a side note, I've got several 100rd boxes WWB 9mm for sale @ $100 per. Blazer brass can be had @ $40 per 50rd box. PM me if you want to make an offer, but act fast, it will ALL be gone in the next few hours.
  10. Seems just as fast as ever for me.
  11. Kinda wishing I had bought that thing off you.
  12. I'm thinking about picking up a fun little .22 plinker pistol. Anybody have a recommendation? I'm mainly considering the Walther P22 or a Sig Mosquito. I know a few of you guys on the board have P22s and seem to like them. Has anybody had negative experiences w/ the P22? Does anyone have a Mosquito? What's your experience?

    Sig P220's?

P220's? YES, please! Probably going to be my next buy.

    New Gunsmith

When you frequent gun forums on the internet, you DO hear a lot of claims from keyboard mercenaries claiming they were some Black Ops brainchild of Uncle Sam, or that they've worked PSD in every hemisphere. Bottom line is, a lot of those claims are BS. Had you only referenced your military career as having been in the USMC, then the Army, I'm sure no one would have questioned a thing. That said, as far as the "can't win" thing goes, I hardly agree. If you were to prove your claims (which shouldn't be that hard to validate), I'm sure Jung would eat a big slice of humble pie and apologize.

    My AR Build

Check w/ PK Firearms maybe? I've been thoroughly pleased w/ Del-Ton, but yeah, it'll be nice and warm outside before you get your rifle!
  17. Ahhhhhhhh Crrrap... I had almost forgot about wanting a TP9...
  18. I'm leaning toward a Sig P229 9mm, but I've also got a USP compact 9mm on the list. Then again, I might just end up finally picking up a 1911... er.. unless I decide to get a P220... I guess what I'll end up w/ relies quite a bit on whats in stock when I go to buy.
  19. I've heard everything from using a heat gun or high powered hair dryer to actually running the damn things through a dishwasher! I say give this a good read through: http://www.surplusrifle.com/shooting/cosmoline/index.asp
  20. Are those just rifle length handguards/gas system though?
  21. I actually ordered them because I couldn't find any PMags, er... make that I couldn't find anyone selling them at a price I was willing to pay Anyways, after receiving them, I was thoroughly impressed. They look better in person than they do in pics.
  22. You could probably have sold those grips and bought 2 pairs of the plastic ones! I like the LOOKS of the black woods ones, but for use, I prefer the el cheapo Sig plastics.
  23. +1 on the Lancers! GREAT mags!
  24. I guess this is the new model? Seems I remember there being another Blackwater 226 w/ some sweet ass wood grips that had been stained a transparent-ish black. EDIT: Found the photo. Personally, I like the wood grips better... for looks anyway. For function, the stock plastic grips have always been great, and I REALLY like the Houge grips on a 226.
  25. I would guess that if Magpul had targeted a $1,400 price point before they licensed it to Bushmaster, Bushmaster's manufacturing capability would only bring that price point down.
