  1. I heard she just shot the floor and chased him out of church. Wrecked her vehicle trying to get away from the cops.
  2. Have to be careful or it will make a full circle and you kill yourself. Kinda' a supersonic boomerang.
  3. I think we can safely say they would never make it out of the Senate. Probably the House as well.
  4. You have to file a spiral groove in the jacket and make sure you orient the round correctly. Yeah, that's the ticket.
  5. Thanx to nightrunner for this:
  6. Looks hokey as hell, but also looks like a lot of fun.
  7. At least real men don't. Have I told you about those great rounded head screw extractors that Sear's has?
  8. Hectares? What to hell? Do they think we live in Germany? 75000 hectares is equal to 185,329acres.
  9. I was thinking of something that might be even more fulfilling.
  10. Yeah, it sounds like an extractor mark. I don't know that it hurts anything.
  11. Boy, we have an idiot for an AG. That's scary. But in this case I think he just saying that the property owner can tell you to leave if he isn't posted and you are OCing.

Whatever it is, it's not an ejector.... BTW, it also works fine without the magazine in the handgun, so it isn't the next round or something on the mag.

I don't like doing this as a general rule (sending people to another board), but I wrote a comparison of the two generations of the P3AT at http://www.hk94.com/hk/Bought-a-replacement-Kel-Tec-P3AT-t21370.html. I wouldn't feel right in copying it to here

The round flips out quite nicely. Horizontal and to the rear. As I mentioned, it did that in the 1st generation one even without the ejector. In the 2nd generation, it does look like the modified extractor has more of a hook on it that probably aids reliability of ejection. But once again, it did fine even in the gen 1.
  15. That's the way I was when I had a G26 and XD-9 subcompact. The XD came with an extended mag in addition to the standard one. I tried it and stored it away. I've never quite figured out why someone would by a subcompact and then buy magazine thingies to turn it into a compact.
  16. Unfortunately, you still have instructors who will tell you that you can't carry in county buildings, banks and places that sell alcohol for carry-out. That's why it's important to read the state code yourself.

I've recounted the story of my forgetting to re-install the ejector in a gen 1 P3AT several times and the little handgun functioning flawlessly. Kel-Tec found that it wasn't needed. The diagram you posts is a gen2. The part is labeled as an ejector but really isn't one. It now just fills a frame gap. Here is the diagram for the 1st gen gun. Note that the ejector in that one really does function. As I said, the gen 2 P3AT does not have an ejector.

Interestingly enough, in the Kel-Tec P3AT the first generation had an ejector, but they eliminated it in the second generation. Guess there are no hard and fast rules.
  19. Church carry is illegal in Virginia, but not in Tennessee unless the church is posted.
  20. I normally wear a cap too. It's surprising how much stuff bounces off of it, particularly on an indoor range.
  21. I think that's about it. It's amazing how ignorant fools work, isn't it?
  22. Guess I should have gone to see it, but it just looked so hokey. So many computer generated scenes on a green screen. I'd rather see real sweat.
  23. One has to question the depth of the ability to think logically after reading this.
  24. I wish I could find someone around here who wanted some 7.62 x 39. Every time I open a shooting bag I find a bunch more rounds. Unfortunately, I've become disenchanted with the AK and it's about to find another home. Wish I had kept the MAK90.
  25. Personally, I like the Sierra manual. It's accuracy load is normally dead on. I find that slower burning powders keep the pressures more reasonable and rounds more consistent for a rifle.
