  1. Probably true, but whenever I think of ol' John I think of him avoiding that little WWII skirmish while people like Gene Autry and James Stewart volunteered. I much prefer him in pre- war movies. I did actually watch him in The Green Berets a long time ago. Boy...talk about an old and fat SF guy....
  2. Eddie just loves to move or merge stuff.
  3. Commas have a function. So do comas.
  4. Gee, the best stuff I could find today on TV was Arena Football and Martina McBride screaming off key on PBS. Even the dogs are bored. Yes, there is lots of Basket-case-balls. Yawn. MARCH MADNESS! March boredness. And the Pros continue through like November, don't they? At least we get NASCAR, such as it is, tomorrow. We have it in person (Bristol) in a couple of weeks. That sucks too. You gotta be crazy to go out locally on that (rip off the tourists) weekend. I still predict a 14" snow on that weekend some year.Any race before the end of April is iffy... Fortunately my life does not revolve around TV. I can always go to the tree house on the ridge and pick off tourists. The snow is gone. Temperature is 54 degrees with near 70 for tomorrow. Must be global warming. I'll have to check with Al Gore.
  5. Show-off. But most 22s are fun. I love my Buckmark.

    Got my FNH PS90

I've never shot the PS90, only the P90. Fantastic rifle.
  7.:rofl: Around here, the best weapon they have is a radio. Granny Grunt could take them. But I totally agree that you should get out.
  8. You should be able to determine how immediate the threat is to you. Assessment is the first step. If you don't see the shooter, or if you see a rush of people in your direction, you are not likely in immediate danger. GET OUT! You aren't Law Enforcement. You job is not to protect and preserve - except preserving you life and those you care about. If you play Joe amateur cop, you are a fool who may cost the state the cost of a body bag. This is especially true if you have never been shot at before. In short, you are not Roy Rogers unless you are riding on Trigger. Even then, Roy got "winged" on occasion. I guess it didn't hurt him. YMMV. Roy was a better man than I. Until you are in immediate danger, keep your handgun concealed. Your mind is your most important weapon. You should have already looked for cover, in case you can not evade the threat. You should have instinctively looked for it before the SHTF. Planters or whatever. Prep for these situations should come long before the event. Plan for the worst. You don't have to be paranoid, just prepared.
  9. Very good handgun. Nuff said.
  10. Well, it's supposed to be inside your pants.
  11. I think you need to give credit where it is due. I think that at some point I'd mention that Stoner actually came up with the concept. Nothing wrong with Magpul working to develop the idea, but they really should say it is based on a Stoner concept. Just my opinion. Put the wrong link in my later post. Should be http://world.guns.ru/smg/smg70-e.htm
  12. Good grief. Ruger rips off Kel-Tec. SmartCarry (formerly - probably before the lawsuit - Thunder belt) rips off Thunderwear. But Thunderwear does work for some use. I wouldn't use with a handgun that is as easy to fire as a Glock though.
  13. I'm certainly no stranger to a gun fight. I guess I'm a bit cynical. I'd be a lot more likely to try to save children's lives than adults. The adults have the opportunity to protect themselves by getting a permit and carrying. If they don't do that, I feel no responsibility to protect them. I might or I might not, but it wouldn't be because I felt I had a duty to do so. I don't get the parallel to Flight 93 either. Sorry. Those people had been on cell phone and knew they were going to die. What they did was heroic and they deserve great respect for what they did. But it seems to me that a mall shooting parallel would be if someone in another aircraft chose to run into them to prevent additional carnage in DC.
  14. That was my cousin Chang.
  15. Again, it's an old idea. I don't understand why everyone is going ga-ga over this thing. It's like Ruger ripping off Kel-Tec. http://world.guns.ru/smg/fmg_02.jpg
  16. Certainly the one I was thinking of.
  17. Duplicate topic. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5165
  18. You ever flown in a sling?
  19. Unfortunately. ( No backbone)
  20. Passports are often trivialities.
  21. Oh Gee someone actually started this topic. Gee, I Know a lot about them.

I have to agree about the PF-9. The trigger could be better. But the other guns have additional problems in terms of concealability and function. Given the choice, I'd go with the PF-9.
