  1. He is an extraordinary craftsman and I think his work is magnificent.

  3. Interesting stuff...thanks for posting.
  4. Damn the facts....let's just baffle people with propaganda and see what sticks.
  5. Beautiful...intelligent....sane. In most cases you only get two out of three for a mate. As you pass middle age you'll realize it's better to feel good than look good. You name is not your own. It belongs to your forefathers and children. Never betray it.
  6. If you don't have time to do it right when will you have the time to do it over? Learn from other peoples mistakes cause you don't have time to make them all yourself.
  7. I'll start...feel free to chime in. Life is a terminal disease...live every day to the fullest. If you can't change it don't worry about it. Life is too short. Always say what you mean and mean what you say. If you can't bite then don't bark. Yoga pants are a gift from God.
  8. Still mulling it over as to how I'm gonna do it. Also I'm in the middle of making/modifying some equipment and finishing 3 knives. Plus my shop is a freakin' disaster and needs a good cleaning so....
  9. Welcome to TGO!
  10. Well that's .......different. A lot of thought went into that.
  11. Damn...that does look pretty darn good!
  12. I am going to attempt to make that knife. I don't even know where to start.....YouTube is my friend.

  15. So I made a simple open display stand for the Seax and sheath. It's right at 7" tall. The walnut is 1" thick. I've had that piece in my closet for nearly 2 years. The finish is a homemade mixture of beeswax and coconut oil.
  16. I've seen two albino deer...both does though. One about 12 years ago in rural Williamson County and one not far from my house in southern Maury County a couple years back. Both majestic looking in their own way. I watched them for what seemed hours.
  17. Yes she was....
  18. On Aug. 1, 1981, the simply-named MTV, short for Music Television, made its debut as a cable channel with one straightforward purpose: airing music videos. In the three and a half decades since its launch, MTV has evolved—or possibly devolved—into a theatrical, star-studded media empire, attempting to corner not only the music and television markets, but to bottle the culture of an entire generation. MTV’s first broadcast, kicking off with the now-legendary words “Ladies and gentlemen, rock and roll” uttered over footage of the first launch countdown of the space shuttle Columbia, is still a sight to behold. Even more fascinating was the channel’s choice for the first music video it ever aired: “Video Killed the Radio Star,” by British rock band The Buggles. First 25 Videos Played on MTV “Video Killed the Radio Star” by The Buggles “You Better Run" by Pat Benatar “She Won't Dance With Me" by Rod Stewart “You Better You Bet" by The Who "Little Suzi's on the Up" by Ph. D. "We Don't Talk Anymore" by Cliff Richard “Brass in Pocket" by The Pretenders “Time Heals" by Todd Rundgren “Take It on the Run” by REO Speedwagon “Rockin’ the Paradise” by Styx "When Things Go Wrong" by Robin Lane and the Chartbusters "History Never Repeats" by Split Enz “Hold On Loosely” by 38 Special “Just Between You and Me” by April Wine “Sailing” by Rod Stewart “Iron Maiden” by Iron Maiden “Keep On Loving You” by REO Speedwagon “Bluer Than Blue” by Michael Johnson “Message of Love” by The Pretenders “Mr. Briefcase” by Lee Ritenour “Double Life” by The Cars “In The Air Tonight” by Phil Collins “Looking for Clues” by Robert Palmer “Too Late” by Shoes “Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around” by Stevie Nicks and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers
  19. Same thing happened to me back in 08. Goes to show you that the good Lord had a plan. He taught me to try my best to lead a stress free life among other things. I've been doing my best to listen.
  20. Here are some pictures of the sheath that 1911alltheway made for my Seax. He has made some absolutely gorgeous sheaths for me but when I took this out of the box I was stunned and without words. It's of course huge because of the length of the Seax and the workmanship is nothing short of spectacular. It you need a holster, sheath or anything else made of leather I encourage you to talk to this man and see if he can help you. I've given him only vague ideas of what I wanted in sheaths and he has continued to come up with designs that amaze me.
