1. Saw a rather long line at 9:30 from the interstate. Just came back through at about 1 and still a decent line. Busy for sure. Hopefully someone will chime that went.
2. Little late to the prepping thing, but better now than never.  With so many websites with stuff, are there a handful of sites you guys use or do you keep tabs on 10 like I have been?  Found a site, ordered some stuff and it's been too quite. Been charged for my items, but nothing heard on shipping.  Need some decent places that has been tested before I keep going.  Also looking for a medium Tac/bug out bag with molle to start with. Where and what brand is what I'm after.  Any info is better than what I have. Thanks.

Franklin Gun Shop

Dropped by there today.  Had to get an oil change at the dealership which is right down the street from FGS. Came around the corner to an empty parking lot. Door said the were closed today due to the holiday.  Open 1/3/13 I suppose.  Drove around back to turn around, had to be 10 or so cars parked.  Must be writing new tags for everything.  I was just going in to see how much more they have overblown their prices. Hopefully they raise them enough that people start looking elsewhere.
4. I might go. Murfreesboro show wore me out. I'll wait till Sunday if I do go.  The last few I went to there were pitiful. Also, by now, the vendors probably don't have much left to sell after the run on everything the last few weeks.
5. Welcome aboard. Moved from Virginia a few years back.
6. I only use my Bank of America credit card for firearm related purchases. It's gets paid off every month. I enjoy using the card seeing as they are anti gun folk.
7. I did this(40 to 9mm swap). Then a few months later I picked up a G26. Defeated the purpose I suppose, but I have two 9mm if need be. Got my stuff at Midway too.
8. Last time I did this, I had to use a hub not a retail store. I know there's one in Franklin.
9. He's on CNN now, can't even let someone respond. Going to try and make another 30 seconds before I yell at the tv.
10. I've posted pictures in the past apparently out of just plain luck.  Anyone use hotmail/skydrive and can help? Trying not to create more user names and passwords on new sites. Thanks in advance, John
11. oh boy. Is someone going to throw shoes at some point too?
12. Wow. I used this site once before and was looking a few days ago at magazines. Glad I didn't place an order. It's gone.
13.
That's Triune, not College Grove.
Love the Maps on the iPad. Boooo.
14.
Thanks, is that the shop at the corner of 96 Hwy and Nolensville Rd?
That's the one.
15. Try The Saddle Shop in College Grove. Only about 20 minutes from you.
16. Beasley Drive and 31(Columbia Ave/whatever they call it) . Next to Fastenal Co. Stopped in today. If you get more than 5 people in there, it's gets cozy. Nice shop though.
17. Just re-watched the video on wsmv.com. The two guns they found in the home were "registered" to the kids mother. Thought we didn't keep track of that here in TN.
18. That dope is located south of me by about 15 miles. Kind of leery about taking my 3 year old to school this morning.
19. Got there at 11 too. After a good hike from my car, took about 15 minutes at the door. Did find a holster for my 6" S&W 686. Not sure if its leather or pleather, but it was embossed with the logo and a 1982 stamp. Almost felt like I stole it for $15. Looks like brand new.
20. Is this one better than the show at the Frankiln ag expo center? The last two shows I went to there were awful. The whole place used to be shoulder to shoulder. Now you can drive a dump truck thru the isles and not hit anything.
21. I started hunting one these down this week. Being a first 1911 for me, this one fits the beer budget to learn with.

New "woods" gun

Nice purchase. I've been looking around for a holster for my S&W 686 6". All I can find are shoulder rigs. I have a cheap nylon one for toting to the range, but it doesn't due to well hanging off a belt. Cowboy styles work, but that's not me.
23.
Flitz on the end of the cylinder works if, like your revolver, is stainless. Flitz will work on the frame too.
Cylinder cleans up nice with the Kleenbore cloth. Might have to try Flitz on the frame. Thanks graycrait.
