1. No, they are currently being put back into irrelevance...
2. I was friends with AJ Mccarrons girlfriend while I was at Auburn. Trader...
3. Lets see how the Irish answer that...

5. I know it's early, but that has to be Quote of the year.

7. I like the "keep calm and carry," but with the stars in the background... Great work.

Guys Weekend

<blockquote class='ipsBlockquote'data-author="peejman" data-cid="873382" data-time="1356994209">
We've done this with friends from college for the past several years. There's typically 4-6 couples, we rent a cabin somewhere near Gatlinburg/Sevierville/Pigeon Forge. The guys go shooting at Sevier Indoor Range and the girls go shopping. Gatlinburg Sportsmans Club is also an option if you're a skeet/trap person. Hot tub + beer + chalet with killer home theater... good to go. Our little reunion of sorts.

One thing we learned pretty quickly, eating out with a group of 10-12 is nigh impossible. We've found it much more enjoyable to eat in. Typically 2 couples fix dinner each night. There's usually enough snacks laying around that lunch isn't really necessary. The only meal we eat out is brunch at the the Pancake Pantry.

I think this is pretty much what we are looking for... I want to shoot skeet/trap, but also pistols. So it may be difficult to do both, but the rest sounds great... If you have any other details PM me please.
9. A few friends from college and myself are looking to rent a cabin sometime this spring and basically want to spend a couple days shooting and catching up. Can anyone suggest any places that might fulfill our needs in Tennessee, Georgia, or Alabama? Regards, AU
10. My family has always used Myers Masengill... Also, I will be in Bristol in a couple weeks, anywhere good to shoot?

8 weeks

I'm sure they're are making them as fast as they can turn out parts and assemble. It is in their best interest. Presumably, if an assault weapons ban takes place, any produced before the ban is enacted will still be able to sell.
12. I tried to buy some mags for my pistols the other day and nobody had any...
13. I think the anti-gun crowd has done more for gun ownership than any group of people in history... Edit: At least in this country
14. I say sell... I personally have no problem with someone taking advantage of a situation. I would also say that magpul will probably over produce over the coming weeks to catch up with demand and prices will return to normal if there becomes a surplus. I don't think the panic will last too much longer.
15. I was just on there... Worked for me.
16. I personally think that ammo prices will stay pretty much the same. I see them possibly banning guns, but not the ammo.
17. <blockquote class='ipsBlockquote'data-author="zgunbear" data-cid="863199" data-time="1355893856">
out of work right now but was made to feel like a leper when I used to work in a medical administgration back office job.
They were so politically correct that if you didn't sing the O's praises you were looked at like you were not well.
Glad I am not there anyore. Got tired of dealing with Liberal screaming women that acted like they were PMS'ing everyday at work.

That's professional.
18. Of course, if you're not against Obama, you must be for him... Duh! /sarcasm
19. I try and leave politics at home and generally suggest my co-workers do the same. With that said, most people I work with are like-minded.
20. I don't really think it matters who is wanting more gun control, It would not make this crowd happy, whether Obama or Romney. It doesn't take a genius to figure that out.
21. My question is how many people will lose their jobs? But, would a ban mean you could no longer buy complete guns and lowers or would all of the parts except registered parts be included? Makes me want to get a new lower.
22. Apparently Dems in the Senate are going to immediately bring measures of gun control to the floor... Nice to know that is priority number one and not the fiscal cliff.
23. It's ding dong ditching... My brother did it while in high school, but never after 10ish. It's the equivalent to making prank phone calls for the older generation and I would say harmless. Are all teenagers like my brother and perfectly harmless, no, but be creative and play a fun little prank and have a good laugh.

What would you do?

I had an 870 Super mag and would not get another... My vote goes to the HK. My 870 would not eject shells even after being sent back to Remington. I realize that 99% of these guns work great, but mine still didn't work even after being sent back. I will never buy another 870.
