    Vols-Gators

4th Quarter choke artist. My wife watches football, I don't. But I watch and listen enough to know they were gonna choke against Florida. Just like they do every year.
  2. Let me rephrase. I know its a garden plow thats pulled behind a horse. There is one lever that adjust "feet" that adjust wing depth, and another that adjust wing width. We've been told it was a celery hiller, but that was a bust, as a celery plow has the point behind the wings. If we can figure out the point and mounting type then we plan to restore it for use behind our Belgium Big John
  3. My dad bought this plow about 35 years ago with no point on it. We have slowly started pulling all our old plows out and redoing them to make them useful (50+ walk behinds) and this is the only one that we aren't 100% sure on manufacture or even what its for exactly. We are 99% sure its for either digging potatos or hilling them up. But we need to know what kinda point went on it, it currently has a mount jerry rigged on for a bulltongue, but we would love to have a picture of an original one, so we know what point to forge out and how to mount it. Heres some pics, any info is appreciated.
  4. Yes, I would. I have worked my ass for everything I have ever had, and noone has any right to take it away from me. They used to hang horse thiefs, and you can be sure someone would think twice if they knew getting caught stealing might mean death.
  5. I've known a lot of MSG duty Marines while I was in the USMC. They are some very well trained men, ready to do what they need to do to defend United States Property. Armed Marines stopped it once before, They would have done it again. "They told (us) to open up the Embassy, or "we'll blow you away." And then they looked up and saw the Marines on the roof with the really big guns, and they said in Somali, "Igaralli ahow," Which mean "Excuse me, I didn't mean it, my mistake." ~ Karen Aquilar, in the U.S. Embassy; Mogadishu, Somalia
  6. Just remember, stuff like this is taking away OUR personal freedoms. Even if you don't drink soda, its still your choice to do so. This does nothing but erode our personal freedoms. Just remember: "First they came for the Jews and I did not speak out because I was not a Jew. Then they came for the Communists and I did not speak out because I was not a Communist. Then they came for the trade unionists and I did not speak out because I was not a trade unionist. Then they came for me and there was no one left to speak out for me. " Its just like anti-smoking legislation, or anything else. Just because your not a smoker, doesn't mean you should not support their rights. If they will limit the amount of soda, whats the difference in limiting the amount of soda I buy, and the amount of ammunition I buy. Don't say it won't happen, because stuff like this proves that legislation controlling amounts of anything can be passed.

  8. Yeah Greg the Peg is what he was calling one of them. I dont know why they would be after Unser though
  9. Yeah Tig should be good to watch this season
  10. Yeah that was rough. I don't have children so it doesn't cut me as deep. I cant believe the way somethings are going already. Edoted out spoiler
  11. You had to leave the room for what? This is gonna be a good season.
  12. Opie is by far my favorite character on the show. The club has cost him more than anyone else on the show. He is also the most complicated of everyone. Plus he has an epic beard.
  13. Yeah I need to go as a spectator. I really wanna try it, shooting in the cap and ball class. Im really wanting to pick up a set of Walker Colts to do it with lol
  14. Supposedly Kurt Sutter wrote it out for seven seasons. I hope so.
  15. 3 seasons on netflix, season 4 is on amazon instant and dvd, and season 5 starts tonight on FX. I've only been watching since my deployment last year, but its addictive, and I watched seasons 3 & 4 in a week. The last two seasons have been my favorite so far and I can't wait till this one starts tonight.
  16. Its all good man, I understand, I work in the off road community, and I see people go in $20k worth of debt for toys all the time. I just hate that someone would think I was sucking off the gov. using tax payers money. Back to thread, the ruger SP101 seems to be the favorite by far right now
  17. December 7th, 2012 will be 71 years since Pearl Harbor. Should we just move on and not mention that event anymore either? There is a National Pearl Harbor remembrance day for that one, and I wish they would enact a National 9/11 Remembrance day as well.
  18. +1 I don't remember it to remind me that I should let the government protect me. I remember this day because 3k AMERICANS lost their lives that day, to a group of people who still hate everything we stand for even today. As far as other countrys have much larger losses to other events, while I respect them, those weren't American lives, and they weren't lost in an attack on the country I love and have served.
  19. I'm not a fan of snubnose guns. My EDC consist of around home which is rural, and carrying to work, which is a family owned off road fabrication shop, where the owner carries openly. So I'm not as worried about concealment, it'll be in a belt worn holster, with just a button up shirt tail thrown over it 99% of the time.
  20. Or it could be my post 9/11 GI bills first months worth of BHA, and since my rent is already paid from my full time job, I'm buying myself something shiny with it. Not all young people will put themselves in major debt, or let themselves be a complete drain on society. Thanks for the suggestion though. Anyone got a pistol suggestion? Edit: I didn't mean for that to come off as snappy as it sounds. Its just that I come to a gun forum looking for gun advice, not financial or life advice.
  21. I will be getting my school money in soon, and I plan to use a some of the excess to finally get my HCP and an everyday carry gun. Now while I appreciate a nice auto, and do plan to buy a 1911 framed. 45 one day, for now I'd like to find a full sized revolver to carry. Carry will be loosely concealed, as in a shirt over a belt carried holster. So I'm looking for a revolver, chambered in .357/.38, with a 4" or so barrel, and an external hammer. And Id like to stay under $600, new or used either one. Thanks for the suggestions guys
  22. You and me both. Im countin down the minutes. I don't watch much TV. But I'm definetly watching this
  23. Toliets will be byot. We will be out in the woods, so privacy will be the biggest oak tree. Sorry, last time we had a restroom at my place, but my dads is set up different. I hope everyone is taking their time off, and making plans for the drive. We are getting closer.
  24. Yeah these are rubber soled. I like leather for riding, but man these things work much better 99% of the time around stores, restaurants, etc.
  25. I've been a square toe guy for the last 6-8 years. They fit my foot better, and even my lucchese that'll be my riding boots are square toed. They are leather soled so I'm not to scared of being hung up. The only time I worry about stirrup hangups is during ranch saddle bronc, but so far Ive never had a hang that would have been prevented by a pointed toe. Is there another reason you prefer pointed toes? I'm always intrested in other peoples choices, and why or why not.
