Shoulda been Tig. Sutter is trying to drag out to many story lines. Tig dies, end of story. Make it cool with pope, this entire #### storm is forgotten.

Well Im done after what just went down with Opie. Spoiler alert I csn't believe they killed Opie. Thats such bull####. I won't be watching anymore

Calm down, think, and don't do anything without a precise plan in place. Action without thought or planning is much more likely to go wrong, put you in an even worse situation

For sure. Alot of my knowledge is stuff I learned in the Marines. And Ill be carrying my old bolt action .22 and military sleeping bag. I don't have a bug out bag, Ill be bugging in on my land if it hits the fan, but Ill bring my normal woods gear.

I'm down. We can use my old mans place. 45 acres, but it hooks into 72,000 plus acres. I know the terrian pretty good, good enough not to get totally lost anyways. And I could use the workout from a good hump. We got the primitive camp coming up oct. 20th. You wanna go before or after that?

Thats a lil to close to home. I'm glad I live in the country away from this stuff. Anyone who is in a city had better be vigliant at all times.

I really enjoyed the T58 in the CH-46. Phrogs were an endangered species. I was one of the last T58 CDIs in the Marines. The T700 always struck me as a stick together lego engine.

I've searched sears several times the last couple of years. I don't know why, but all of a sudden these jackets seem damn near impossible to find. I had a nice Dickies mechanic jacket I bought at walmart in 07 that got stolen, and I haven't seen them there since.

How many more idiots will it take? Was he looking down the barrel and pulled the trigger or ???? The only time I've looked down a barrel from the muzzel end, the barrel was no longer attached to the action, and did not have a bolt in it. Whats it gonna take before people start obeying the 4 basic rules of gun safety. 1. Treat every weapon as if it were loaded. 2. Never point a weapon at anything you do not intend to shoot. 3. Keep finger straight and off the trigger until you are ready to fire. 4. Keep weapon on safe until you intend to fire

I know a lot of us have very varied experiences. I think it would be cool if you guys would post a couple pictures from your current or former jobs so we can get an idea of who does what. I'll start From my previous job as a T58 engine mechanic for the USMC. Taken in the Philippines circa late 2008 From my current job as a Heavy and light duty diesel mechanic. Building the bottom end on an ISX cummins

I need a new jacket as all my old #### is either worn out, or doesnt fit right anymore. I prefer mechanics/Eisenhower style jackets. I'm also wondering if there is a place in the Oak Ridge/Knoxville/Clinton area who could embroider one after I get it. Does anyone local still carry them, or am I gonna have to order offline? Anyone seen any good deals online? Thanks

Jesus. A political thread is one thing, but this nothing but a youtube playlist, predicting doomsday, riots and the end of the world.

Ive always heard it is suppoaed to be separate from the gun totally. Like gun in the window rack, and ammo in the glove box. Also keep in mind we dont have concealed carry permits, we have handgun carry permits. I know it seems stupid, but I know some states you can carry open with no permit, only need one if you carry concealed.
-
If you have a handgun carry permit you can carry any long arm loaded, but can not have a round in the chamber unless in fear of your life.

This is very true. We are always Marines, not Soliders lol. And I say that with utmost respect to all branchs. As far as Marines not being able to make a difference, it is obvious he knows nothing of Marines. Having done 5 years in I can tell you a well equipped platoon of Marines would have stopped this event in its tracks.

Off topic, but I miss my deployments. Even the MEU, which was way to many months out to sea on a Navy ship. I got to see places I may never see again, and do things that a lot of people will never have the chance to experience. And the tax free pay checks weren't to bad either lol But, I did have a kid in the Philippines try to sell me a USMC issued M9 with ammo. I got him to hang around and called the LT for our unit, and we confiscated it when he showed up. Turned out he had snatched it from a SNCO's room about 2 hours prior in the hotel where all the officers and senior enlisted were living.

Would someone please explain the difference in washing the sidewalk with a water hose, and the rain washing it? City threatens to fine business owner for water hosing bird poop from side walk. http://radio.foxnews.com/toddstarnes/top-stories/restaurant-faces-2000-fine-for-washing-away-bird-poop.html

Yeah I wish I had an Uncle Willis to teach me to shoot, buy me a Sig and my HCP. Are you adopting? I'll pull my weight, I promise lol

I'd still be more apt to buy something like a 90's model Buick or Chevy, or even a honda or toyota. They are cheap, plentiful, easy to park, easy to work on, good on gas, etc. Park the truck and keep it around for long trips, towing, etc. I had an extended cab, shortbed that I drove everyday in southern California traffic. I bought it for 18,500 and sold it for $25k. I had a lot of memories in that truck, and the day after I sold it I woke up regretting it, and I have every since. If you enjoy the truck, and can afford it, then I'd say keep it.

Kinda off topic but who found your water source for ya? My uncle had a company find his, while my Grandpaw found my parents. Grandpa was a water witch and our well has never went dry, and its 73 ft. My uncles goes dry every summer and it was 127 ft. He didnt believe Papa could realy find water.
-
Don't do it. I made a $6k profit when I sold my Duramax and I regret it everyday. You will regret selling the truck.
