  2. Thank you! Yes, sir! The X-Ring is without a doubt one of my favorite rifles to shoot. It is lightweight and lights out accurate. From the shooters ear, I would say that my Dead Air Mask is quieter than my Surefire. I prefer the Surefire on X-Ring to keep the overall weight down. The Surefire can weighs 3.1 ounces versus the Mask which weighs 6.6 ounces. If weight is not an issue, my vote is for the Dead Air Mask. Whereabouts in the state are you located? You are more than welcome to shoot my rifle, my friend.
  3. Thank you! What do you have cooking? You are right on the money, my friend!
  4. I bit the bullet and I bought my first 74! Arsenal SLR104-UR By this time next year, I will have my rifle back from Rifle Dynamics with the following work completed. - Cut + crown barrel to 8" - Custom porting to optimally run my Dead Air Wolverine PBS-1 suppressor - Tune recoil system - Norrels Moly-Resin flat back finish - UltiMAK M13 Krink Rail - ALG AKT-EL - Bulgarian triangle stock Once I have the rifle back in my possession, I will drop a Aimpoint T2 + a Surefire M300 Scout Light into a Haley Strategic Thorntail SBR light mount. My rifle will look very similar to my friends (9minded on Instagram) RD 104UR. The key difference between our builds is a 8" barrel chop + Wolverine PBS-1 versus 9" barrel chop with a Dead Air QD mount to run his Sandman S. Aside from that, our rifles will be identical.
  5. I received my last pre-41F tax stamp back yesterday afternoon. For those of you wondering, I received my tax stamp back 355 days after my can went pending.
  6. I purchased another Colt 6920 to stash away for a rainy day. My fiancées nightstand gun is officially complete! I sourced the last piece of the puzzle locally, which is a S3F Solutions threaded barrel. LAV RTF2 Glock 17 x AAC Ti-RANT 9
  7. I have been on a tear as of late! I pulled my dream rifle out of layaway in February and I am almost complete with the build. The last piece of the puzzle will be ordered next week. Which is a Knight's Armament Company 762 CQB QDC suppressor in FDE. Knight's Armament Company (KAC) SR-25 EMC - Leupold Optics Mark 8 1.1-8x24mm CQBSS H27D - BT10-LW17 V8 Atlas Bipod - Magpul ACS-L Stock - Magpul MIAD Gen 1.1 Grip I went to the Outpost Armory last month to purchase a bipod for my rifle and I walked out with a Romanian SAR-3 instead. Last September, I got the itch to purchase a FAL. I scratched that itch by purchasing an Imbel parts kit + Imbel gear logo receiver. I sent my parts in January to Mark to Arizona Response systems to assemble and refinish my rifle. I received my FAL back from Mark at Arizona Response Systems after patiently waiting nearly 6 months. To say that I am pleased is a gross understatement. His work is first rate and worth every penny. Capitol Armory squared me away on a Surefire SOCOM RC2 5.56 suppressor
  8. Congratulations, my friend! It is one of my all time favorite rimfire cans. I saw your post on ARFCOM last night and it inspired me to photograph my own combo this morning.
  9. In the past month, I have shot at Strategic Edge twice. I waited 6 months for my application to be approved and it was well worth the wait. The facility is first class, Tony is a stand up guy, and the members are fantastic. There is nothing better than hearing the sweet sound of steel! I recently purchased a Knight's Armament SR-25 EMC and I am happy that I now have a range where I can stretch her legs.
  10. Thank you! They are my go to rifles and it was only right that I suppress them. My lineup pales in comparison to many on the forum, but I am happy that I have most of my bases covered. I am lacking a gold plated AK-47 to live up to my name!
  11. My Wilson tennis racket bag has served me well in the last year.
  12. Another vote for the AAC Ti-Rant 9!
  13. The Sportman's Guide had crates of silver tip for $180 shipped last March. That was the last decent deal on surplus from an online retailer. Your best bet nowadays is to check Armslist and the forums.
  14. Guilty as charged! Touche! Bingo!
  15. You have my commitment for a shirt.
  16. Outstanding! The Omega 9K is on my short list of suppressors to acquire next.
  17. How many of you have walked into your local gun shop looking for something specific and walked out with a new pistol or rifle instead? In my case, I stopped by my LGS to purchase a bipod for one of my rifles and I walked out with a Romanian SAR-3 instead.
