Yea they can keep their ammo. I won't spend a dime there for anything. We buy my son's baseball stuff at Academy instead.

Sportsmans Warehouse has pistol ammo in stock.................
battleop replied to a topic in Ammunition and Reloading
I was there last night and they had plenty. They had a buggy full of 9mm Blazer in 350 round plastic ammo boxes. The only thing I can't find these days are Bricks of 22 at any price. The only thing I've come across in stores is CCI in plastic boxes but no bricks. -
I like Sons of Guns but I get the feeling that we're going to end up with an Orange County Choppers type show with Vince and Will competing with each other.

Very, Very, Old news. It's not been that difficult to get ammo at SW for months. Just show up before lunch on Mondays and get just about anything that's not a 500 round brick of .22. -
I went to the Chattanooga RK show last weekend. There was some ammo but nothing like there was a year ago. On Saturday afternoon I saw one table with about a dozen 525 .22LR boxes for $75 each. On Sunday afternoon the same greedy bastard still had the same amount of 525 .22LR boxes marked down to $65. Unless he sold any in the last hour he went home with what he came with.

I have plenty of ammo but no time to shoot it.

Pork-Infused Ammunition, Not Seen Since Black Jack Pershing
battleop replied to StPatrick's topic in Ammunition and Reloading
On the surface you might think that 72 virgins is a great idea.. After a short while it sounds like it would turn to hell once they all started bickering and nagging. -
Florida man's gun collection draws attention
battleop replied to jgradyc's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
My 9 year old is the luckiest kid I know. Being the only boy and one who started shooting at 4 years old he will inherit all of the guns from my side of the family and my wife's side of the family. He already has more guns that were left to him by his great grand father that most people I know own. -
Every attention whore needs their 15 minutes.

Murfreesboro Police gun buyback this Saturday
battleop replied to a topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
My wife bought me a Glock 22 for Valentines Day at GT that was part of a trade in form some Police Department somewhere around the Atlanta Area. They do take trade in just not complete junk though they probably have some process to take junk too and sell it to pawn shops or other interested FFLs. -

What a fool. Sorry but there is no way in hell I would go online and post a shopping list no matter what kind of safes I had. -
They can keep it. I'll never spend a dime there again.

I used a S&W 617 .22lr with a red dot scope; :) I could have picked any caliber between .22 and .45 but I decided on one of my pinking guns because 22 is cheap. I did bring a Glock 22 in my bag just in case there was some reason I could not use the 617.

Teacher Suspended For Showing Kids Pliers
battleop replied to ironsniper1's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
One of things I hate at TGO... Liberal Media style Thread Topics... It would be rather hypocritical if they did not do anything to the teacher for innocently bringing a bladed weapon on to campus. The teacher was not suspended for showing Pliers he was suspended for bringing what would be deemed a weapon to school. FTA: "He showed students several tools that he used in his classroom including wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, a box cutter, and a small pocketknife." -
Same thing happened at the Brainnerd Walmart in Chattanooga. Someone stole a guy's truck and he shoot at the truck while the thief sped away and no charges were filed.

Maybe it's letting up a little but it was getting annoying to see post after post of "I found ammo" only to see it was sold out even if you had clicked on the link within 1 second of it being posted.

These posts are about the same as that nerdy guy who posts "FIRST!!!" after some gaming company makes a post in their own forums. How many people are really getting ammo after seeing these posts? Maybe one or two at the most?

It screams "Look at me! I've got a gun on me". Since I almost always carry I don't like to attract attention.
