I'm not for taking away people's due process either. A spiteful ex or a disgruntled neighbor red flagging you is WAY different than a guy who hears voices and wants to murder. He LITERALLY stated it. Whoever let this guy just walk is probably going to get hit with the lawsuit truck HARD. Plus their employer, their employer. Heck, everyone.

I bet the lawsuits are coming. Heck, I wouldn't even be surprised (in this day and age) if someone from the shooters side didn't sue because 'he might not have done it if they protected him from himself".

@BigKand I ran into one of those guys running a single private table at a LGS a few years back. Said he shut the store down because he had employees stealing and selling things off the dock. Said that he was getting the blame as the FFL holder, so he was out and the few guns he had on the table were the last of his gear. He was switching to selling CBD instead. *Shrug*

I mean, I'm flattered they pinned me I suppose, but I didn't make the post for recognition. In fact, what I typed initially was a comment to another poster where I was going to pile on my opinion. Ultimately I sat back, thought about my words and realized that adding on wasn't going to accomplish a damn thing. So I went for the de-escalation route. As far as the thread being locked...not my circus, not my monkeys, ya know? I'm just a dude with a login for a public forum. Noone of consequence.

@Scottyone more thing. Some folks get Covid and it lingers for awhile. I was like that. I was over the main symptoms (aches, fever, chills, etc.. the flu symptoms) in a week or two, but the aftermath took awhile. For me, I was lethargic, tired and just generally "down" for about a month. Wake up in the morning, feel fine.. then walk to the mailbox and feel like i wanted a nap by the time I get back to the house. So if you feel that way, you're not alone there. My mom and her boyfriend had the same experience and they just got covid for the first time about 2 months ago. It'll pass, just make sure you stay active. Even if it's just a stroll at lunch or something. Worst case, talk to your doc. Gassing out quickly is a lot different that physically still sick.

Make sure you try to stay upright as much as you can, don't just lay around horizontal. Helps to keep it from settling in your chest. I slept in my recliner or propped up with pillows. Get some sunlight as well for the vitamin D. Zinc chewables seemed to help me as well.

@TGO Davidas a fellow computer dude, you mentioned hardware failure. Is TGO running on dedicated hardware? I don't know the complexity of the infra, but would have assumed it would be all virtualized/cloud hosted. definitely not to question your solution or anything, i'm just curious
