  1. Good looking out man.
  2. Some clown (me) got our Corgi a squeaky toy. So, that was fun starting at 4am. Hope everyone here has a blessed and relaxing day. Happy birthday Jesus!
  3. Kemosabe went out, both guns blazing. Soul intact.
  4. Hilarious, though the pulse rifle was made by Armat Battlefield Systems.
  5. Good, but i much prefer Tonto, Tarzan and Frankenstein
  6. meanwhile, in regretville
  7. I miss my old USP .45. I traded it for the USPc .45 and regret it. I thought i would carry the compact and of course, i didn't.
  8. My kids are teens now (or close enough) so the Santa stuff is over. So now, there's very little to look forward to. They are still pretty grateful, but they don't want toys and stuff anymore. Now it's money or some... oddball thing that doesn't really make sense to me. TBH, I'll be glad when it's over. I should be enjoying life since i'm out of work but instead i just have the dread of shopping, traffic, crazy people and the inevitable return to work. I guess this is mid-life? Lord help me.
  9. @Alleycat72: I'm just in CO for the music and venue Also @Alleycat72
  10. aint that the flippin truth...
  11. Are you saying Calhoun's isn't a nice restaurant???
  12. I think his concern was that the stay was involving people's right to possess braced firearms, but didn't include anything about dealers being able to sell them.
  13. Thanks for responding. What would you want for the barrel?
  14. So.. i feel silly for even asking this.. but to be sure. this "set" isn't going to work as a set because the barrel isn't threaded, correct? I haven't read up on either part... maybe it's some new fangled attachment i don't know about? Any desire to sell the barrel on its own?
  15. Depends on which version you're talkin about. All with vastly different outcomes. Big bear girls... bare girls... Bear Grylls... Cool looking firearm OP, GLWS
  16. Gunshop owner buddy told me a few days ago that as a dealer, he still hasn't gotten a straight and narrow answer on this from the ATF on this. The stay is active but they can appeal and potentially win. So right now if you ask the ATF if it's legal, you probably won't get a response.
  17. It's entirely burnout.
  18. Man I can remember watching this in the theater in like 6th grade. I watched it at least once a year ever after. These days, you couldn't pay me to watch that movie.
  19. Wait? she can do that? Honey! I know what I want for Christmas!
  20. I've watched more movies in the last couple weeks than I have in years. Another silly but fun recommendation is "Nobody" with Bob Odenkirk (Better Call Saul guy). That was fun. It was good to see Christopher Lloyd on screen and I almost didn't even recognize Michael Ironside... channeling his inner Wilford Brimley. I also watched Everything, Everywhere, All At Once. This movie was a mess of randomness, but overall, I kinda liked it. I wouldn't ever be in for another viewing, but the absurdness was comical. Fair warning that it's very "artsy". if you hated inception or tenant.. you will loathe this movie.
  21. You watch, it'll be a bunch of black rectangles and republicans.
  22. I thought the same thing about charging the rifle. Reading my mind as usual, youtube gave me a short right after the movie where a guy talked about training himself to always charge because sometimes a jam can seem like an empty mag. He also made a good point that during transition practice to his sidearm, he found that sometimes the rifle would bounce on the sling and hit his bolt release on his rig or hip, closing the bolt. Stuff you just don't think about i suppose. I need one of those infinite refill plate carriers. It's also important to swap shoulders every 5 seconds. *edit* One final note. I was pleased to see that they didn't have the 5 year old throw a knife into someone. I was fully expecting that eye roller.
  23. I watched Warhorse One on Prime this weekend. It started off looking really low budget, but it picked up steam and became a fun watch. It's basically John wick wanted to be a Seal. Lots of shooty stabby ridiculousness.
