  1. Yeah, I realize it's spelling and not grammar, but I lump this in with people who tell other people that "irregardless" isn't a word. 100% correct and 100% unnecessary
  2. I'd love to have a 590a1 but with a standard stock
  3.   As people of gun culture.. we'll never be able to see past those flaws. Also keep in mind that season two really only had 1 eyepopping episode. So far season three (by comparison) is much more action oriented.   I think i'm just bored with the human drama aspect. I want to see more survivors vs zombies.
  4. Sorry David, I suppose I should have cleaned up that statement a bit better. The boys above seem to agree however.
  5. noticed I had a few like notifications this morning. Clicked the "post you made" link and there's nothing showing on the thread. Perhaps by design, figured i'd report regardless.
  6. I'm normally not a fan of the looks of an AK but this makes me want to buy one and trick it out.
  7. sure beats cup stacking right?
  8. Rodman in north korea..... in other news, here's a bunny with a pancake on its head. Seems like the same level of importance/silly.
  9. http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2013/02/robert-farago/magpul-provides-complete-statement-on-ny-leo-ban/   Didn't see this linked, might make someone feel better about it.
  10. In soviet Russia, kid suspends you!
  11. Damn right! HDEXSTDHABEHLVPFSE for the win!
  12.   hell, OLED will be cheap before too long. Pretty sure the "new hotness" coming up is AMOLED, but right now it's mostly in phones. the Samsung Galaxy SIII users Super AMOLED.  There's even HD Super AMOLED....    <nerd> Reminds me of Street Fighter Alpha 2 Gold hyper fighting championship edition! </nerd>
  13. I'm a samsung LED guy myself. Used to deal with Plasma's back in the day and no matter how far they've come... i couldn't bring myself to buy one. I've seen tons of them burn out the backlight, lose their brightness or bruise from tilting.
  14. I'd set up the projector first at the desired distance. then mark off the viewing area on the wall. Paint that marked area with projector paint and then construct yourself a border using something like a really nice black trim.   That would keep it looking nice and on a budget.
  15.   I can agree with this. I was simply trying to rationalize why the teacher thought this would be a good idea. But that's the problem in itself isn't it... you can't rationalize stupid.
  16.   I got a brother in law there as well ;)
  17. I can remember talking about Islam during world history back in high school. But we also talked Christianity as well.   Seems like if you were going to be touching on a controversial topic like that....you might write the parents and say "hey, we're about to cover this in class, fyi... here's my plans... blah blah blah".   Maybe she was going for the "take a walk in their shoes" approach, i can appreciate that teaching method. I used to be a technical trainer for Dell and sometimes getting techs to understand why they shouldn't be a-holes required me saying "imagine you're that customer".    Freedom fighters though?... who is she fooling :D
  18. Not gun related, but someone sent me this at work today and i laughed my tail off     Fair Warning: Adult language within   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RQbH3fyGerE
  19. Give um hell Magpul. We'll keep funding you!
  20.   Peanut butter is the bomb for catching critters. I had a mouse get into one of my walls, i went to the spot i thought i heard him via the attic. Tied a string to a trap baited with honey jiff (pretty strong scent) and lowered it down into the wall. Dern mouse runs onto the trap and snaps it as i lowered it down. I thought i was being punked....
  21. Insert liberal response
  22.   that's what happens when people misplace their extractors!
  23. been a few hours, still showing available.
