  1. Off Topic Happy Birthday to be! 40 ain't bad, wait til 50 sneaks up on you.
  2. It is a class for Handgun Carry permit. It is set up so that the poor and weak can pass so they will be able to defend themselves if needed. It is not a self defense class or a tactical handgun class. You have to look at what it is. Maybe it should have more/better accuracy requirements and physical abilities requirements but it may then somewhat defeat the purpose of the class. Just my opinion.

    Traitor!

Some like to blame an inanimate object or even others for their perceived problems, like blaming your car for you driving drunk or a bartender who did not stop you from drinking too much and then you driving and hurting or killing someone. A defective line of reasoning! Too many today think along these lines and wonder why their lifes are so messed up, very simple they need to become responsible adults. Just my thoughts on this subject.
  4. Nice set you have there. Always good to have a few different ones.
  5. Hello and Welcome to TGO from another guy from Clarksville.
  6. Hello and Welcome to TGO. Very nice pics, good to see the young being trained on firearm useage.
  7. I believe that many put up the firearm with slash sign just to CTA (cover their A#@). They could put up proper signage if they so desired.
  8. The problem is if there is only one assault and it is you who is assaulted then you have a crime problem. You do not know if or when something will happen so be prepared!
  9. I do not know the requirements but places like Ft. Campbell, Ky. have civillian contract guards at the entrances to the post for a couple of years now. I have talked to a couple and depending on rank and duties make around $14 to $17 an hour. They are armed with a handgun, do not know about the training they recieved.
  10. The ammo could not be seconds, think liability, they or Wal-Mart do not want to get sued. There are different levels of ammo like most things. Range/plinking grade, hunting, self defense, you pay more for better quality control and components. Now is the time to start reloading, a basic single stage press and needed equipment does not take up much space espeically if you load one or two calibers. I keep all my stuff except for the press in a medium plastic tool box and mount the press on one of my computer desk. Very little space is used and I run some decent ammo for less than anybody sells it for. I only do 40 S&W now and have found it easy to make good ammo for my GLOCK 23 and 27. Things are not going to go down in price, they are going to keep going up so we have to live with it.
  11. Howdy and Welcome to TGO. Must have good lungs to shout that far!

    Carry Gun Size?

I do not know about the Kahr but I do have a GLOCK 23 and 27 I carry. The 27 does well in a JIT slide by Don Hume and the 23 goes in a IWB by Hume also. I carry the 27 usually at the 4 o'clock positon and the IWB either 4 or set up as a cross draw especially when driving. Both are fairly comfortable and easy to draw from. I also have a IWB for the 27 but like the slide best for it. A good place to order from; WWW.GUNNERSALLEY.COM
  15. WELCOME WELCOME WELCOME Howdy and did I say welcome
  16. Kentucky has it where you can carry if the place does 51% of it's business profit other than alcohol/49% or less profit from alcohol. I live in a border town and since Tennessee has stopped smoking in eating joints I do a lot more eating in Kentucky, I also like the state.
  17. Also inspect the brass after each step in the reloading process, a defect may show up anytime from any of the reloading operations.
  18. Built and mantained with our taxes then we have to pay to use them, I think not!
  19. Like many rounds I don't think I would like to be hit by any brand in that caliber!
