  1. Just keep asking questions and go light and easy with your reloads when starting out. Always double check each step until it becomes second nature.
  2. Sounds like a bunch of guys (friends) in a bar BS'ing, not in a bad way either!

Nice, something for everything and a extra.
  4. Howdy and WELCOME to TGO. This weekends Nashville fairgrounds show will be a Bill Goodman show, not considered the best but better than nothing.
  5. I believe I am the only one using reloads as a primary carry ammo.
  6. A MAC and a 9mm, oh my goodness, what's next becoming a Democrat? Get a GLOCK 23 for the MAC, high speed-higher power. What ever makes you happy!
  7. Bill Goodman Gun Show this weekend at the Nashville fairgrounds. Received e-mail this morning.
  8. Go to http://data.hodgdon.com/cartridge_load.asp Hodgdon site Load 10 rounds at min and go up .2 grains for 10 rounds until .4 grains or so less than max. Then do your range time and see how they do, make sure to mark which rounds are which. When you get near max loadings be very careful and watch for over pressure signs! I do not load for max and I watch my charge weight very carefully when near max. Longshot may be a better powder than others in the Hodgdon line for 9mm and 40 S&W. I use Longshot for 40 S&W and have had good results for accuracy, cleanliness and function. I have also used in for 9mm in the past. Just my experience!
  9. I am of the mind that a BUG should be similar to your primary gun so I have gone with GLOCK's 23 and 27. Same round different sizes.
  10. 40 S&W, various brass and primers, 7.5gr of Longshot and Rainier or Berry's plated 165gr hollow points. Accurate, clean and inexpensive and I do believe they will expand.
  11. There are many internet rumors about using a SOB holster and falling on it and damage to the spine resulting. I have never known anyone to which this has happened and never heard anyone say this happened to me. May be uncomfortable to wear while seated , almost impossible to draw while seated and must have good rotation of your firing arm to reach back and draw.
