Awesome job by the boys from Tennessee. Not only did we take home some plaques but somebody even made off with a gun. It was great shooting with you guys and it was fun getting to know ya'll better. Tennessee has a great community of shooters. Also, how about that Squad Chic? Wasn't it nice to just shoot and not have to worry about score cards? Thanks again guys and can't wait to shoot with each of you again soon.

My dog would definitely be a liability. He's a 65 lb bowling ball that can out run any human for 20 yds then he needs a nap. He snores louder than any human I have ever heard and barks at everything that moves, that includes his own shadow. Oh yeah and he was born deaf. But I will guarantee you one thing, that dog will follow me off of a cliff and I wouldn't hesitate to take him with me.

Good news. I finally got a response to my craigslist ad looking for a squad mom for squad 3. I'm happy to say it looks like we have a winner. I talked to her on the phone and she sounds very promising. She does have one request. She wants to be called "Squad Chic" not mom. She said that makes her feel old. I will be picking her up on the way down. Does anyone know which exit on 65 is the Bryson Rd exit?

Welcome to a new addiction. There is at least one type of local club competition going on every weekend. MCTS in Dickson shouldn't be too far from you and they have something every weekend as well as the Tuesday night events at the Nashville Armory. MTSC in Manchester and Brush Creek up around Alexandria are also great places to shoot. If you are ever up around Gallatin on a Wednesday evening I've heard Tenn Action Pistol puts on a good indoor match as well. They do all have one thing in common, super nice people that love new shooters and seem to always be willing to help out and give advice.

I did fall asleep a couple of times but that buzzer kept waking me up. I did have fun though.

I'm so glad you posted this. I was so tired last night I had forgotten what I did last night. I knew I had fun but I just couldn't remember why.
