  7. I am a fan of the SPS tact... I dont care for the OEM houge stock that comes on it. The foreend has too much flex unless you add rods and bedding to firm up the tip. For the $$$ it is a fun platform and will serve you well.
  8. I have 3 too many "fun" vehicles 1st track trip in the coupe. 11.092 @ 133.13 The topless pig 11.6@126 The other is a 98 cobra and it is even slower...but has a good bit of suspension work.

Kicakass! did you get to punch holes on Sat?
  10. I have/use triionz and a power balance.. I wear one 24/7. I play a lot of golf and hit at the range almost everyday. To me the trionz helps with the pain (arthritis) in my hand. The Power balnace I and not so sure of but wear it for mojo I guess LOL
  11. I have yet to shoot a rifle with the A4 so I may need to test drive that one K? thnx
  12. Welcome to TGO I have the LTR, SPS Tact, SPS Varmit, and the 700 P. (all in .308) All are great shooters. If you go the SPS Varmit you will need to add an aftermarket stock. The one that comes with it is trash. In a good stock it will get you into the "long range" game at a fair price. The SPS Tact stock is not much better and I would change it out too... The LTR comes with a HS Percision stock and they are better than what comes on the others. The LTR is my favorite but I have mine jazzed up a bit. The 700 P is a good option too... HS Stock but may not be worth the extra $$$ these days. If I had to start over and go with only one... I would go SPS Varmit, McMillian stock, and good glass/rings/base.

    Fake Rolex

Not all Rolex's are automatic watches. Mine is an older manual wind, non-datejust model. I do have a nice Breitling but it is a gold chrno so I dont wear it much... If it were silver I would wear it daily and not the Rolex or TAG. I am looking for a Casio G-Shock Riseman to wear on days where a "dress watch" is not necessary.
  15. Thanks THe M40 was not bad at all... The 40A1 is a $$$ build. The scope/mount alone was 3k+ Here is GAP's version. USMC M40A1 Keep in mind that the GAP price is without a Return stock. Return stocks go from $700-1,500+ depending on what it is. In late 2010 McMillan came out with a few (20) of their own and they sold out quick at $8,451 each (8451 Old Sniper MOS#) M40A1 Commemorative Marine Corps Sniper Rifle
  16. M40A1 & M40 The 40A1 is carried over from http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/show-tell/32126-m40a1-clone-done-now.html I am about done with both projects not and thought that I would share some quick shots. The 40A1 is “more correct†than the 40. The M40a1 clone is the correct serial number range, McMillian USMC Sniper Return Stock, GAP clip slotted, all the USMC correct stampings, USO mount & USO USMC SNIPER MST-100 scope. I has a Apr ’77 MRT sling and the older trigger with the tall safety. The M40 is not close but is what it is… A 1980’s PSS in a wood stock that I found on ebay. Redfield 1†tube (non-accurange) Redfield 1-64 rings. 40x Sling swivels with a July 1964 MRT sling. I have a Leupold USMC M40 Rifle Green scope that I may add to the m40 clone or I may save it for my woodland return stock build if I cannot find a MST-100. 1 by rmw1971, on Flickr 2 by rmw1971, on Flickr 3 by rmw1971, on Flickr

    Glock 27 or 23

I have both and carry a 27 daily. However, if I could have only one glock in .40 ...it would be the G23 for me. It feels the best in my hand and is not much larger than the 27. You cant go wrong either way IMO.
