  1. http://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory/police-hug-triggers-officers-gun-kills-woman-16737471 Gotta call BS on this one.
  2. I can't remember the last time I used any IE.
  3. Some of the parks are posted, some are not. The state parks are not posted. You may carry but not discharge if you have an HCP. Certain city parks are posted. I believe Shelby Farms is posted. Most City parks are posted. Bartlett is not posted.
  4. I have one in 243. It is an amazingly accurate rifle.
  5. The rifle in my pic is the same gun you have but in .44mag. The curved butt plate is much different from the Marlins. I made mine out of necessity. It has a small about of padding to tame some of the recoil. Heavy loads and a metal but just hurt.
  6. I guess I am lucky. My wife is Military Police. Our first date was at a range. My first gift to her was a Mod 92fs.
  7. Yea there was some treacherous places on that trail. I had one area where a branch caught in my helmet and almost dismounted me. I know what it feels like to joust. Let me know what your next event is. Maybe we can meet up. I will be doing the Navy Nautical in June.
  8. http://www.austinchr...cial-media-eye/ I just saw this.
  9. Yes it was my first mountain bike Du. What a blast. 1:07. I placed 3 in my age group. I had on the Coast Guard jersey. I did the Los Locos the next week and got 2nd in my age group. They just get tougher the older I get.
  10. I am still just flabbergasted by the whole event. The man is a lot cooler than I think I could have been.
  11. Heck, if I shot every dog that chases me when I run or bike the roads would be littered. I would have flipped out if he shot my dog, on my property. BIG FREAKING LAW SUIT.
  12. Just my 02. I have a physical therapist friend that calls P90x "job security". Mainly because too many people, who have been sedentary and are overweight start it and hurt themselves. If you have been sedentary and are overweight start slow. Map out a healthy diet and exercise plan. I would suggest starting with walking or better yet biking. Until you can work up to the rigors of a P90x. This will be a long term (life) fix. There are some great programs online for diet. Check out the Livestrong site.
  13. Similar thing happened in Millington at the McAlister's. Turns out it was a manager. I wrote the Corp Office. Next day the sign was gone.
  14. My 1894 is great. But as been said it is an ammo hog.
  15. I use Varget and Noslers in my 15" Encore. Works like a champ.
  16. Our prisons are warehouses for the mentally ill. We don't have treatment facilities or programs to treat most of these issues, so we street them (homeless), or we incarcerate. There are evil people. There are also people with no conscience, who do not live by the rules of society (sociopath). It is a very complicated issue. One day these "mental defectives" may get out and be living among the rest of us. And don't think just of the men's institutions. The women are just as heavily medicated and "defective" as the men.
  17. I bought a house in Charleston once. Great neighborhood, really nice houses. Between the time I signed and closed the neighbor build a pool. That is itself not a problem. Turns out my new neighbor should have been in a reality show, the Redneck Kardashian's. She had gotten some "settlement" and bought the house. It was two years of hell. She was a total ass, had parties that lasted all night and generally pissed off everyone she came in contact with. The whole neighborhood rejoiced when she moved. Now I have the best neighbors in the world. They are a gift.
