  1. The old pawn shop i used to use ($35 total transfer) went up to $55. Anyone have an ffl they can recommend? Closest to downtown!
  2. My browning A bolt 243 with some Hornady 95gr takes down deer just fine. I see your point.
  3. Anyone hunt coyotes around Nashville? I just moved here. Would also love an outdoor place to shoot if anyone has property around here. Feel free to reply or PM me. Chris
  4. I haven't seen anything out of stock anywhere
  5. He didn't say he wanted to build a basic budget AR. How much he wants to spend would be good info to know though.
  6. The options are endless. Just research what works well for 3 gunners and buy that stuff. Watch a few YouTube vids on lower assembly. It's easy.
  7. Haven't weighed it yet but I'm planning on getting a low mass bcg too. 28" overall with the stock collapsed. 14.5 pinned upper, CCS stock Then I have the trunk gun.. 7.5" novekse with sig brace and law folding attachment.
  8. http://wreg.com/2014/09/07/teens-attack-people-in-parking-lot/ Video is nuts... The lady recording starts laughing when she sees they are beating up a white kid (17 year old bagger). He's out cold at the end.
  9. I do out of respect. I tend to get stopped a lot and I never get a ticker when I inform whether I'm armed or not. It's a good conversation starter besides the reason I was stopped! Plus I think most LEOs realize HCP holders are their last concern
  10. First off, why aren't you comfortable with open carry? Just try it, you'll be surprised when no one even notices...
  11. There's a lot of open space out there. Might just get some AR500 hardness targets from eBay and build some yourself. I have some friends that live in Martin but they aren't shooters.
  12. I was at Starbucks downtown Memphis this morning and was OCing my g17. Two officers came in, said hello to them on the way out... I love Tennessee!
  13. This^. when any group clamors over 1-2% in cuts, it's pretty obvious we're going to spend until the collapse just like Greece. Here in Memphis, MPD acted like their department was being gutted when the city cut $5.9m (2%) of their budget. They threatened to close precincts, not patrol after certain hours etc.
  14. No 6.5 Grendel lovers? For up to 200 yards, blackout is a great option.

    Glock 19C

A tungsten guide rod would be better for cutting recoil jump on a 19 IMO.

    Glock 42

The MP shield is selling like mad. Why GLOCK doesn't make a slim 9mm is beyond me.
  17. Not bAd, like others said probably about market price but I like sealed stuff. Thanks for sharing. Some people may to try to rain on this but it's good to share, if someone wants to buy it, great! If not, that's ok too.
  18. I have a Daniel defense 16" upper. The way understand it is blackout chambered rifles can shoot whisper but whisper chambered rifles cannot shoot blackout. Like 223/556. I've shot about 60 Hornady vmax whispers through my Daniel defense blackout. I can't tell a different from my 147 gr fmj.
  19. Thanks for the freedom link. I could sure use some blackout!
  20. My buddies and I shoot every few weekends at my shop but I always scoop the brass up. I'm not a reloader though. Anyway, I have about half a 5 gallon bucket of 223/556, a coffee can of 556/223 (8.2lbs), and a coffee can of 9mm (13.4lbs). These are just approximates from my weight scale. I just have no clue what to do with it or what it's worth?
