  1. Excellent videos and points but I will agree that some may take longer than they should. He's not really biased though in his opinions, he'll tell you if it works or not. He doesn't try to sell the company "product". Most of the equipment used in reviews and run n guns are bought with his own money or money accumulated from the web store. He has a strong opinion because he has found what works for HIM, he tells you in his early videos that what works for him may not work for you and that he is only conveying his opinions. I will also say that he is an outstanding human being from the outreach he does to fellow TNP'rs, not much unlike our fellow community here.
  2. Saw this on facebook and HAD to share it...
  3.   That's kind of the way to go IMHO, why make your rifle heavier than you need to. The first time I saw a TRX rails(predecessor to the Alpha line), I knew that those would be perfect for almost any application to help lighten it up. Also to help bring that weight back, why not use a pencil barrel or shorten the overall rail length to get that trade-off?
  4. This IS the government you're talking about here...
  5. Would you WANNA use it again after that though?

  7. Get a new rail and stock, YHM makes good stuff but they tend to be heavy. The UBR stock is notorious for being HEAVY. If you're looking to cut down on weight, look at Magpul ACS or VLTOR E-Mod, if you want to be out less money, go with a Magpul CTR. For rails, if you HAVE to have a quad rail, get a Daniel Defense Omega, it's supposedly one of the lightest quad rails you can get OR go the route I was going to when I was building my SPR, go with a Troy Alpha rail that uses bolt on rails. Either way seems like a good idea to me, I mean another rifle or spare parts for a future build? Hmmmm, decisions, decisions...
  8. OUTSTANDING.
  9.   They'll both be executed upon leaving the courtroom?
  10. A light dusting here on the plateau.
  11. Glad you're okay RC3, as is your "friend", these times are indeed stressful but use that stress as a reminder of what not to do in the future. Take that as the voice of experience, seriously. I'm not going to lecture you as everyone else seems to have beaten me to the punch and far as trolling goes, I don't know you personally so I can't testify to your intentions but then I'm not here to judge you either, if you are indeed just having a craptacular month, just suck it up and tough it out, look at it this way, the month's almost over. I will echo one thing from here, find some new friends brotha, seriously, for your own sake and livelihood, lol.
  12.   HAHAHA!!! I knew that the same exact way! That's too funny... "Hmmm, yes, shallow and pedantic..."
  13. You know, I pride myself as being fairly knowledgeable, that is until I stumble across threads like this where I have NO experience in wireless technologies whatsoever. It leaves me feel little out of place...
  14. I like how the gov't is basically saying to Snowden, "Don't break the law, that's our job!".
  15. We're on broadway...
  16. What is WRONG with people?!?!?!?!   http://www.fox17.com/news/features/top-stories/stories/mother-admits-selling-baby-sex-19204.shtml   HAMMOND, Ind. (Sun-Times Media Wire) - A Gary, Ind. woman admitted this week that she sold a baby eight times to a Gary man for sex and was in the room for all the meetings except for the last one. Natisha Hillard, 25, pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court in Hammond to one count of selling a child for sex and two counts of allowing a child to take part in child pornography, the Post-Tribune is reporting. Hillard admitted under questioning by her attorney, Visvaldis Kupsis, that she met Christopher M. Bour through a dating service in 2011 and that they agreed to meet at her place. That was when Bour started asking her about two children she had access to, both girls, who were 4 months and 3 years old at the time. The crimes lasted from September 2011 until February 2013, when an acquaintance of Bour alerted the FBI that he had been asking her to take part. She agreed with statements by Assistant U.S. Attorney Jill Koster that she can be seen on images found on Bour's computer showing him sexually touching the child with Hillard in the background. She also let Bour take sexual pictures of the older child at least once, Koster said. Koster said that Hillard told law enforcement after she was arrested that she agreed to sell the children to Bour because she needed money and that Bour paid her extra for the last encounter to be alone with child. Hillard said she didn't know if Bour then shared those images with other people. "He didn't tell me what he was going to do with them," she said. Hillard, who is being held without bond, faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 30 years to life in prison on the count of selling a child. Bour, also being held without bond, has pleaded not guilty in the case.
  17. Sorry to hear about that, though I know that doesn't bring you any solace having been betrayed like that. Let us know if there is anything we can do to help. Do know that those of us here at TGO are 100% willing to assist within reason should we be able to do so. Will your homeowners insurance cover it?
  18. Only if you have bear paws. I have ITTY BITTY girl hands and a G20/21 to me feels like a Desert Eagle.
  19. Troy ftw, those things are rock solid.
  20. I had a Maglite XL200 then upgraded to a Streamlight ProTac HL for my EDC. My two long-gun lights are Surefire halogen models, actual models are unsure of as they're bring backs from the sandbox, one unmounted and one thoroughly used, lol.
  21. While a good option, it makes you a BIG target for looters unless you keep moving which then brings up the problem of refueling.
  22. Another for the G29, I had one and got rid of it when I was lining up to buy my first new bike. Regret it ever since cause I got a REALLY good deal on it. Brand new for $515OTD. I will get another...
  23. Indeed, but go for used. I almost had the opportunity to get a National Match stainless about 4 months ago for $1500.
