  1. The 07/09 will take the P10 mags, but not the other way around, there is a cut in the P10 mags that the 07/09 mags don't have. The guy on the MAC channel said they will start making all of them with the cut in the future.
  2. Meh, I say you have it, throw it on there and see if it is what YOU like. Me personally I go to the higher end of the magnification scale, works for me better than not seeing what I am doing. I use 18x at 200 yds, and can shoot 1 to sub moa groups. What works for one may not work for somebody else
  3. Is this the range at Royal Blue?
  4. mine got a little better when I bent the ejector in a hair, but it still wasn't perfect. Which is why I ended up getting rid of mine, more hassle than it was worth. I will just pick up a cz scorpion when I can.
  5. You don't see much about this gun, but I bought the tactical one for the threaded barrel and taller sights. This has become one of my favorite guns for sure. Buy it you won't regret it.
  6. 208gr AMAX, or the new ELDX or ELD Match w/10.5-11grs of 1680, according to my chrony this coming out at just a hair over 1000fps This loading for the AMAX is in Hornady's 9th edition book on page 386, I just used the same for the ELD's. Also this is out of an 8.5" barrel
  7. $899, meh, seems like a decent gun for the price if you don't have one or 12 already????
  8. Well that is complete bs, I just traded a '14 duramax back in, and it didn't lose one bit of power when going through a regen cycle. The only way you knew it was doing it was, the higher idle when stopped. If a dealership took one back on trade with any of the emissions components cut off, they obviously didn't check, and when they found out, I bet they wished they hadn't. I also bet they won't do it again.
  9. Are yours getting approved by the same atf person? You should play the lottery, there aren't many out there getting batch approvals and you got them twice.
  10. I also don't understand why they batch approve some and not others. They open your "account" and see the other forms in there why not do them all at the same time, seems like it would save a bunch of time for sure.
  11. hard to say, I am getting form 4's and 1's back about the same rate. The first form 4 was sent in January, I haven't got back because the dealer made a mistake and put my name under the trust name, and they sent a courtesy letter saying he had 30 days to correct it. Says he did, but I have yet to see it, and I am starting to get a little pissed about it because I have had another form4 that I sent in a week later, and got that one back in August. I also have a form1 from around the first of April back for a few weeks now, so I would say the end of Aprils is soon. Or so I hope, I have another form1 sbr sent on 4/26
  12. I had the umarex full size one, I will say that gun never had any issues and went bang every time I pulled the trigger, wish I would have kept it. I bought a victory when they first came out, had nothing but issues with it, got rid of it. My .22 can is about to get out of jail so I was in need of another .22 host, I almost bought the M&P and would have if it would have been a full size. Against my better judgement I went with a victory again, although this time with a threaded barrel. I have read that the victory is a hit or miss deal, hope I got a good one this time.
  13. I had the silver TS in 9 for a little while, ended up trading it back in at harveys (its still there, they are asking $1199 for it now, think I paid $1149 new). My thoughts on it were that it shot like a laser, the trigger was where I had my problems. While the pull was light, the break on the trigger seemed kind of erratic, and that would cause me or the gun to double tap sometimes, which kind of gave me an uneasy feeling about the gun. I put a cajun gun works trigger, adjustable sear in my stainless 75b and I think I like that trigger better than the TS trigger even though it is a little heavier. I probably could have fixed the trigger with the help of CGW, but for the money that gun cost, I felt like my money was better spent somewhere else.
  14. was at both today, looking at anything with a threaded barrel, and buds was $20 cheaper on every gun I looked at ie.. ruger base model 22/45 or mkIII whichever it is, the black one with the rail on top, smgw $359, buds $339 m&p22 compact same thing, I think kimbers were even more than a $20 spread. fwiw, ATI is making a .22 pistol called the "firefly" w/ a threaded barrel, almost bought it at smgw until I googled it and it seems sig quit making the mosquito and ATI picked up the design, so I handed it back to the guy and told him no thanks.
  15. I can't give an opinion on the expensive one, but I bought the cheaper one and it works just fine.(its been awhile since I bought it so I don't remember which one is the cheaper of the two). Guns America sent out an email about a month ago saying that they were in lawsuit and the expensive one won the case, and the cheaper one is no more. So if you can find one, I say grab it, it is fun once in awhile, but I don't think the expensive one would be worth the coin.
  16. Sweet maybe I will see mine pretty soon then, at least the 3/1 and 3/15 anyway.
  17. Sent 1 in on 3/15, 2nd on 4/1, 3rd on 4/26 form 1's, have had 2 form 4's out since 1/28 and not a thing on any of them.
  18. I am thinking it is in the gas system as well. I had an adams arms .308 that was piston driven that would do the exact same thing as the op described. I solved mine by drilling the gas port in the barrel. After that, it ran like a champ. fwiw, I wouldn't hesitate to swap a bcg or even just the bolt itself from another working rifle to troubleshoot something, done it a few times with no problems.
  19. I bought the savage as a host, although I am still waiting on the stamp. I will say it is alright for the money, but the stock is horrible. It is like it was built for a child. If you are an average sized adult or bigger, plan on a new stock. I will be buying a boyds stock for mine shortly.
  20. no you do not, you can own it as an individual.
  21. ha, almost doubled in 08 when obama took over. If anything he is one heck of a gun salesman.

    Glock 43

I find it funny that glock guys don't really like the 43 for the most part, and myself not really liking glocks, do like the 43. And I wear an XXL glove as well. Gun folks are a fickle bunch. Ever since my wife bought a 43, I have decided that will be what replaces my rami for summer carry.
