  1. I suppose the bATFe will just *know* whether someone has put a Sig-bearing AR to their "should" in order to claim undocumented NFA weapon status? That's the idiocy that I see in this. I mean... unless someone has video or a pic for proof. I'm sick & tired or bein sick & tired of these fools.
  2. I think the "leaders" know it and don't care. They think they have sufficient insulation from such national disasters. Randall53 is spot on.
  3.   Tell that to my local C3. He intends to charge me $10/visit to fill out the 4473 and hand me *MY* property. I'm going to remind him of this (box 22something) when next I see him; nicely.
  4. "Gas" needs pump stations to flow, afaik. However, gasoline can be pulled direct from the underground tanks unless there is an anti-siphon device in the fill tube. Just need a 12v or manual pump.
  5. I figured that much, was thinking of going the other way 'round though. After doing some research (50k ft view), it looks like reloading even at 40gr is touchy with the 5.7.
  6. I know the 5.7 is listed as .224, 40gr and the 5.56 is listed as .223, 55gr.   Will the bullets of these 2 calibers interchange with appropriate adjustments to powder loads? Or are the diameters/profiles too different.
  7. Ironic, but I heard Brady had one of the largest collections of F/A firearms in the country before the shooting.
  8. :stir: :stir: :stir:   Show me where the exception clause is written in the 2A.
  9. It's not TN, but I've seen an open-carry couple at Longhorn in Albany, GA more than once. They sport nice 'custom' 1911 frame pistols.   Open carry is something I don't do in public and rarely on my own property. Better that John Q is oblivious, IMHO. I've only been approached once since I got my permit nearly 20yrs ago, but can't say if I've ever been made otherwise.
  10. Aaaannnddd... it's gone (to a 12mon wait now). Mine were going to be filed first of the week. Rotten luck.
  11. Class 1 BT & WiFi max out at about 100yds, line-of-sight. You can get a longer-ranged WiFi for the base of operations, but I'm not sure how you'd shoehorn extra transmit power on the drone.
  12. The original Professional Ordnance models are cast/machined different than any other AR model I've seen. Just enough so you can't swap major components. I have no experience with them since Bushmaster bought them.
  13. The only Dealer I've contacted so far that's even tried to eFile doesn't carry the can brand I want to purchase. I think their excuse was that every one they've sent in has been kicked back. I know shops in GA that have little to no problem with eFile. It's hit/miss on the eFile site mostly. Just have to keep trying; early morning has the best results.
  14. Thanks, my situation doesn't quite allow me to make that long of a trip unfortunately.
  15. So, the way I've read this thread so far....   Even if I have an NFA Trust established, for a Form 4 item, the employee at the store still has to be willing to submit the forms via e-File? So far I haven't found anyone willing. :(
  16.   We're sort of 'known' around town. I wouldn't drive it downtown Chattanowhere though. It's still my favorite.
  17. Don't forget mufflers. The term Nuclear Popcorn comes to mind.
